V was a great miniseries.

If they do it right, in other words give it a Battlestar Galactica type reboot, a remake could kick ass.

they're lizards - see now I just spoiled the surprise so they don't have to go through with this.

I loved V. I especially loved the mini-series. The regular TV series was good until they started making it a bit soap-opera-ish, featuring the two Visitors Charles and Diana; yes, simultaneous with the real-life pairing of the British royals. Much too cutesy for me. Then they started sending main characters out of town or killing them off, undoubtedly to save money by cutting payroll. They ended up sending off some of my favorites. Oh well.

That show introduced me to Freddie Kr... uh, make that Robert Englund, Marc Singer, Michael Ironside, and others.

I'm skeptical, but I'll try it out, since I too, loved the mini and the regular series of the 80s.

I just hope it's not a "Battlestar:Galactica' type reboot, where they basically just keep the name and trash a good deal of the characters and premise of the original. I guess I can understand why they can't just do a continuation of the old series, but honestly, there was nothing "wrong" with those characters so I hope they are very judicious with the "fixing" and "reimagining".

But they probably won't be.
