Self explanatory. We know you hate them, but why? Dont like the actors? Not your type of comedy? Views of people invloved with the actor? Bad experience happen with the show?

I'll think of more I'm sure...

CSI:Miami: HORRIBLE ACTING. Terrible scripts. It's like the original's bastard cousin no one wants to talk about.

Green Acres: It's just freakin stupid. Proposterous. Plus, when Nick replaced The Monkees with the crap during the summer of...97 I think...it pissed me off and I've held a grudge against this terrible piece of TV history ever since.

Bones - My mother loves this show. I've tried to watch it several times but just find it incredibly stupid. The combo of forensics and cheerful music while the characters joke around just gets on my nerves. To each his own, I always say.

Seinfeld-Frankly I think Jerry Seinfeld is an annoying obnoxious jerk. The show to me has no humor whatsoever. I really hate this show (no offense to the fans here)

The Simpsons- I think this is also in bad taste. The jokes are horrible, and the people on this show come across as being so idiotic. How this has stayed on the air so long is beyond me.

Tim and Eric's Awesome Show-the humor on this is the worst in taste. Every bad sex, body organs and fart jokes you can think of that are disgusting, crude and so not funny. Just a bunch of dorks running loose

The Cosby Show- I like Bill Cosby a whole bunch, and I think he is a great humanitarian, but this show. For eight years he made a clown of himself, and not one good laugh came from this show either

Gomer Pyle USMC- To me it was just sooooooooooo stupid. A clutz who joines the Marines who in real life would have been kicked out within a week. I like Gomer on Andy Griffith, but this was the worst spinoff ever.

Green Acers, The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Mayberry RFD, Hee Haw-just really bad rural comedy. I dont think hillbillies are this dumb.

While I completely disagree, I will say that sometimes the judges dont know when there is bad singing. Like the guy that just got eliminated actually snag like he was taking a crap, and only got so far cause he was a widower, Im sure of it, he was alrught, but shouldntve made the top 3.

I love Two and a Half Men, ER, House, and CSI: Miami!

Now, the shows I really hate...

The Office - Seriously? This is supposed to be a comedy? I watched 2 episodes and didn't laugh once.

Heroes - Just pure crap.

LOST - What started good, got boring. One season was enough for me.

Chuck - Annoying show, and annoying fans. (Sorry fans :) )

All Dancing/Singing Shows - I don't care if you can sing, you can dance or you find D-List celebrities to sing and dance, I'm not interested.

I'll probably make a few enemies with this, but here goes.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit- Where as the original L&O is just plane boring, this show actually really disturbs me. It seems like someone is being raped each week. My dad watches it, and when ever I hear it, it just makes me feel really uncomfortable.

Mork & Mindy - The guy came to Earth in a flying egg! There is nothing more to be said.

Family Matters- Urkel was one of the most idiotic characters in television history. The few times I wathced the show I could not believe how utterly stupid it was. Especially after Urkel built that robot.

Bewitched - Really bad acting and writing. And its not even funny. I Dream Of Jennie was so much better.

I can't stand NCIS or CSI:Miami. I tend to really dislike reality shows like Survivor, The Amazing Race, and The Biggest Loser. The Biggest Loser has helped people lose weight but the show has been an overkill this tv season. There was a fall and spring season.

Friends - I just could not get into it. Very overrated and boring.

Jerry Springer, Maury, and their ilk - Who fathered that child, who is sleeping with who, ad nauseum, people screaming at each other. I can see that in real life. Why would I want to watch it?

Reality series such as The Cougar, The Apprentice, ect. - Again, people screaming at each other and throwing hissy fits. Who cares?

Fringe - I saw the pilot episode. Too bleak. :(

Adamantium
05-16-2009, 12:57 AM
George Lopez - It fails to make me laugh. The only character that has made me slightly chuckle is Benny. Lopez himself is not funny to me. And to top it off, it's Nick at Nite's highest rated show, which ticks me off.

Two and a Half Men - I've already mentioned why I don't like it over on another thread "Why All the Hatred". But I just wanted it stated here too that I hate this show with a whole heart.

The Simpsons (of this decade) - A show I used to love, but now I can't stand. The show should have ended years ago. I'm actually turned off by the fact that it's still on. Even my favorite shows I don't want to be on for twenty seasons and beyond.

Reality Series in General - While I was okay with the early seasons of The Real World and Road Rules, this reality TV craze that realy seemed to start with Survivor has ticked me off. I don't enjoy any of them and they're all stupid. However, what really ticks me off about reality shows is that they're everywhere and anyone can get one. If they had just one designated channel for reality, fine. But this genre of television has taken over every channel (even my once beloved TV Land has been injected with the vile genre) and I'm sick of it.

The Nanny - This seems like a dumb reason, but I can't stand Fran's voice, nor any of the characters. I've never laughed at the show, because as I just stated, I can't stand the characters, especially that butler.

The Beverly Hillbillies - I pride myself on being able to watch and enjoy all sitcoms from the 1960s, and yet this show rubs me the wrong way. I just think it's dumb. Maybe that's it's charm, I don't know. I guess I just don't get it. All the characters except for Jed annoy me. I don't see how it made nine seasons, I really don't. Yet oddly enough I completely enjoy the other rural shows like Petticoat Junction and Green Acres.

Although I don't hate it (I even own all the DVDs), I'm not in the Roseanne is the best show ever camp. It was an *okay* show in my opinion and it's being treated like it's the ultimate sitcom. I feel the same about Seinfeld. I watched it, I laughed, I own the DVDs, but it's far from being the great sitcom every magazine list, etc. says it is.

There are some shows that I have no interest in ever watching, and feel hatred for. But since I never actually watched them, it would be unfair to put them on the list.

I think a lot of reasons for hatings shows sound dumb when you say them (or in this case type them). It's just a feeling you get. Either you enjoy watching a show or you don't. Sometimes it's hard to put into words why you don't.

I strongly dislike "Little House on the Prairie." This is not meant to diminish its standing as a treasured television classic, but I dislike it because of its setting-- out in the middle of nowhere in the 1800's. That can get kind of boring at times. Of course, that's just me, as there are other people that do like that series.

I don't think Family Guy is the kind of show that would really grab you after just one viewing (there are some recurring themes and stuff that you'd have to see a little more), but at the same time watching multiple episodes won't guarantee you'll like it either. Like anything else, it's a personal thing and either you get it or you just don't, and there's nothing wrong with that. I like it myself though.

Now here are some shows I had tried to watch more than one episode and so far they aren't doing much for me:

Two and a Half Men
Friends
Third Rock From The Sun (This one is way too "out there" for me, I guess)
That 70s Show (Maybe it's just me but I don't really feel like they "captured" the 70s very well. I just see bad outfits and hair styles without a 70s vibe)

All these shows have a good following so obviously they did something right but from what I've seen they're just not my style. I have been known to change my tune though. I did that with Seinfeld. Hated it at first now I really like it.

95% of modern crime dramas too dull and push an anti second admendment message
Friends never saw the appeal
Family Guy relies to heavily on random toilette humor, sex humor, and gross out humor.
30 Rock, The Office, and Two And Half Men I fail to see humor in these shows
The Brady Bunch hate these damn phony happy family showspuke:
SNL use to funny at one time
The Pew I mean View and the rest of its ilk wanna hear a bunch of bitch hogs argue I'll go to a bar.
Seinfeld never got the point of this show

One that comes to mind is King of the Hill.

I remember watching it back when it first started in 1997 and I didn't really like it.

I guess at the time I was expecting another Beavis and Butt-head type show since they were pumping it all the time as "Created by the the Beavis and Butt-head guy".

In recent years I have caught the show in passing, now understanding this isn't Beavis and Butt-head, but I still don't really find this funny. I personally can't see how it lasted this long.

from where i live in the uk, we have a british equivalent called 'loose women'- same crappy premise, 5 women sitting around a table talking rubbish. daytime tv sucks anyway, although i cannot imagine anyone would be sane enough to watch shows like the view and loose women, if they were shown in the evening.

Mostly to almost all reality shows - especially the ones on MTV, VH1 (save for the "I Love the '70s/'80s/'90s Series"), BET, and American Idol and Big Brother. The former three, b/c the majority of those shows come off as just too much of a b***h-fest.

My Two Dads - liked it was I was younger, nowadays it's just unfashionable.

Life with Lucy - this show was definitely not the way Lucille Ball would've wanted her career to bow out. Bad actors in the kids and overall horrid acting made that apparent.

Jerry Springer - You'd think that after seeing people just going on there and talkin' crap and fighting for the ump-teenth thousandth time, someone would slap them upside the head and make them get some help.

Deal or No Deal (NBC Primetime Version) - Liked it when it 1st came out, but really hated it after the 1st season when it became Gimmick Central, complete with annoying contestants, even more annoying so-called supporters (aka their annoying friends and family members), so many gimmicks (IE, the lady that had the afro and had the models sporting the fros, the WWE Sign Guy, the college girl that wanted green for her stuff, etc.). And two, this whole show is based on pure b-s luck w/ no real skill what-so-ever. At least the daytime version got their acts together by eliminating the b-s gimmicks and having the civvies as the case-holders. Heck, "1 Vs. 100," which was produced by the same company that made this show was miles better than DoND, b/c unlike DoND, you actually need skill to win! But it's funny how "1 vs. 100" was getting better ratings than DoND at some points and NBC royally screws this show over. And it's even more sickening that it's coming to GSN in June! Of all channels!

The Hillbilly Trio - The Beverly Hillbilllies, Petticoat Junction, and especially Green Acres. The Beverly Hillbillies (tolerable at best in the earlier years), Petticoat Junction (I only tuned in to see the opening credits) and Green Acres (FORGET IT!!!)

Friends - Never once saw the appeal with this show. Majority of the characters on there are just...ignoramouses.

Seinfield - Never much humor in the show, plus the fact that I hated Seinfield for the way he trashed the show that got him on the air in the 1st place in "Night Court."

Mayberry RFD - one of the worst TV spin-offs in history

Barney - Yes, that dumb purple dinosaur. I wanted to hurl when I watched this show as a kid. That purple dinosaur used to annoy me to no end.

Desperate Housewives - My mom and my sisters like the show, but I never once saw a single moment worth watching on this show.

NBA on ABC/ESPN - Bad commentator skills by the crew at ABC/ESPN is just part of the culprit as to why the NBA is almost a total joke these days. They talk incessantly over important parts of the game the whole show as if it's another version of "Sportscenter." Plus, the crappy music packages they used to open their playoff games and Finals Games (save for last year's NBA Finals, which thankfully they didn't botch up too much) sounded wimpy (Remember the music they used from The Pussycat Dolls?)

I mean, even NBC was guilty of talking over the important parts of the games when they had the rights to the NBA. But at least they drown out their talking to let the us hear the crowd cheering. ABC/ESPN just completely mutes the crowd.

Even TNT does a far better job of broadcasting basketball gmaes than ABC/ESPN.

Pokemon - A show that should've ended about 5 years ago. The show is just growing staler and staler each week. The new batch of characters doesn't help matters, either.

i don't understand the appeal of deal or no deal, nor can i make sense of the rules. plus, the show is so boring to watch and sit through.

i wouldn't want to be friends with either of those characters from friends: they seem to come across as rather boring people with dull lives i must say. the fact that it ran for 10 seasons, you could tell the show gradually became stale and even more unfunny, the longer it went on.

seinfeld i never got into. i tried to, but i just didn't find it amusing for my tastes.

Really? I thought it was "Benson" that got him on the air in the first place. (And I think he trashed them for it too.)
Correct on both counts. But to be honest, I don't think Jerry's character really added anything to Benson, anyway.

The View - Seriously, who thinks five ladies who have absolutely nothing better to do but get into bitter disagreements with each other about politics and other currrent events, is good for daytime TV for over 10 years now? Oh wait, a (pre-1997) respected TV journalist known as Barbara Walters was involved in creating this? Where's my Pepto-Bismol? I seriously need it after remembering the details about this show!
:clap :clap :clap :clap :clap :clap

Thank you. The most outrageous was when they had Ann Coulter on. I like Ann and I dont agree with everything she says, but when she was on this show the moment she sat down, all those girls on the View just attacked her before she could say anything. They could have at least showed Miss Coulter some respect.

The Simpsons- I just can't stand this show. It feels to me like a bunch of frat boys got together while drunk one night and drew a bunch of silly cartoons about yellow people and decided to throw in a bunch of sex jokes, gay jokes and beer jokes.

Two And A Half Men- I can't stand the actors and the jokes are all so one note.

anything with the words Blue Collar in the title...

Anything by Tyler Perry...

It is so great to see somebody who hates the Simpsons as much as I do

I have to disagree slightly about ABC/ESPN. Hubie Brown is a great analyst but the Trio of Van Gundy and Mark Jackson and Mike Breen is horrible along with the Halftime Studio Crew. TNT is much better.

I tried watching Desperate Housewives when it first came on, because I was all, "Hey, Teri Hatcher is on TV again!" The only thing I found remotely interesting was the murder mystery, but that even got boring and I didn't even care anymore why the woman killed herself. All the characters are annoying and stupid.

i don't understand the appeal of deal or no deal, nor can i make sense of the rules. plus, the show is so boring to watch and sit through.

i wouldn't want to be friends with either of those characters from friends: they seem to come across as rather boring people with dull lives i must say. the fact that it ran for 10 seasons, you could tell the show gradually became stale and even more unfunny, the longer it went on.

seinfeld i never got into. i tried to, but i just didn't find it amusing for my tastes.

desperate housewives i don't care for and nor do i have any interest in. it was when i saw the previews on tv that was enough to put me off from watching it altogether.

as for pokemon, i couldn't less whatsoever.i agree about deal or no deal i have watched aalot of game show in the almost 38 years that i have been around and dond is the most boring game show i have ever seen

The shows I dislike the most are the crime shows. I don't know why so many people like murder mysteries, but I think they're awful.

I also don't care for reality shows, although American Idol is my guilty pleasure. So sue me :D

I don't watch anything current, really. Like Monika said a few posts back, give me a DVD of some of my favorite shows.

The dramas were much better back in the 1970's/80's because the ones today I find are too graphic for my taste. Give me Charlie's Angels and Murder She Wrote anyday.

In my opinion, anything that premiered after 1989 fell flat for me. The sitcoms became too adult oriented for me, same for dramas - see above.

I don't watch any of the main networks in primetime and haven't for years.

I'm pretty much the same way. The '90's and '00's aren't doing it for me. Even "Mary Tyler Moore" (which has only 4 seasons' worth released, of which I have 3) has cut more ice with me than "Two and a Half Men" ever did.

I loved Hubie Brown when he co-anchored the NBA on CBS games w/ Brent Musburger and Dick Stockton back in the days!

why couldn't the NBA on ABC/ESPN be like the NBA on CBS and/or NBA on NBC?

Everyone else outside Hubie Brown sucked, especially Mike Breen and Mark Jackson.

TNT even has Marv "YESSSSSSSSSSS!" Albert from the NBA on NBC days.

Basically anything new now, but to be frank...I have a list of shows that I hate through the years...and in a way...still do...

1991
Roseanne-The concept of a working-class family was good, but Roseanne was a bitch! John Goodman's character nor Laurie Metcaff's can't even balance Rosanne's character!

1992
Ren and Stimpy-Forbidden in my house and when I tried to watch the show now I'm like WTF?! It might be because John K. also worked with Ralph Bashki, the guy who gave us Fritz the Cat. It should've been on MTV than Nickelodeon.

1993
Barney and Friends-I regret watching this show...it dumbed-down PBS Children's Programming!

1994
SportsCenter-They just talk about sports! Why bother with the sports section?

1995
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers-At this point in time, despite the likes of the early MMPG...the show got redundant and there were too many spin-offs and clones by this time!

1996
Elmo's World Featuring The Cast Of Sesame Street-I love the Pre-Elmo Sesame Street, so don't get me wrong...but when Elmo took-over the show...I can't even bear to watch the new Sesame Street...It's NOT as urban as it used to be!

1997
TGIF-Okay, It's a program block, but when I think of TGIF I think of the good shows like Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, Boy Meets World, Step by Step, and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper...but by 1997 Disney took over and made TGIF more teen-oriented! So basically...the 1997-2002 TGIF shows eats...except BMW.

1998
Jerry Springer Show-Trash Talk Show! As a matter of fact, I hate ALL Trash Talk Shows! My brother loves to watch Maury and he says to me "watch it, you'll love it"! I hate it! I also can't stand Arthur since it came on PBS during its low tide, Mad TV though there's only a couple of good sketches It's a clone of SNL, and The Box which was a station that didn't appeal to me!

1999
Teletubbies-Another bad PBS Show! It's not even made by a human being! What Barney didn't hinder from PBS Elmo did, what Elmo didn't hinder from PBS the Teletubbies did, and what the Teletubbies didn't hinder from PBS...those boombah thingies did! PBS is learning from these mistakes now, but the damage is done!

2000
Survivor-Just any reality show can be inserted here, but when Viacom bought CBS they thought The Real World worked for MTV so why not have reality shows? I wish this genre dies real soon!

2001
Pokemon-Another show I regret watching! It's just an animated soap opera! And doesn't Pokemon sound kinky since it means Pocket Monster?

2002
The Simpsons-Why can't this show cancel? Between 1989 and 1997 I hated this show! By 1997 and 2002 I liked the show for its cleverness...but by 2002 it was like the Energizer Bunny...and this show will cancel When Cleveland wins a Championship!

2003
Spongebob Squarepants-Is this the only show Nickelodeon focuses on? I was around when Nickelodeon was in The Orange Years (1991-1999), when the station balanced rerun shows and original shows! Those days are gone with the wind!

2004
Friends-I like the first half of the series when it was funny, but they milked the show for another five years! Yes...we get it...you were on a ****ing break!

2005
American Idol-I call this show American Idiot...self-explanatory!

2006
That 70's Show-I love the first three seasons, but then it might as well been called That Sex Show and when Topher Grace left That Soap Show!

2007
Mind of Mencia-Who in the right mind thought Carlos Mencia was funny?

2008
Tyler Perry Shows-I see Tyler Perry the same way as I do Carlos Mencia!

2009
Jay Leno and Conan-It wasn't their fault! NBC went into a downward spiral by this time. Leno is now retired and Conan O'Brien has a better TV Show on TBS.

2010
Glee-It's basically High School Musical for grown-ups. This show eats!

2011
Two and a Half Men-A VERY Stereotypical Show! People think men want sex! It was never funny!

2012
How I Met Your Mother-Another show where my brother said "watch it, you'll love it" scenario! I hate this show...most of the characters are one-dimensional and one is an *******...even Rules of Engagement, New Girl, Mike and Molly, and Two Broke Girls have this style...one-dimensional characters and an *******!

2013
Bob's Burgers-The show is ugly! This is what they replaced The Cleveland Show? And to me, The Cleveland Show is FAR funnier than Bob's Burgers!

2014
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo-I'm glad this show is off the air! Honey Boo Boo is a spoiled rotten brat! Like almost all kids these days! The Reality Channel (formerly known as The Learning Channel) better go back to their roots!

2015
Keeping Up With The Kardashians-These women are spoiled rotten as well...and the reason why it's my show I love to hate for 2015 is because of two words...Bruce/Catlyin Jenner! The Kardashians get their money for nothing and their checks for free!

I also hate Scooby Doo because there's so many good H-B characters and yet this dog HAS to be the star? **** no, I'll pass!

I have always hated Married With Children, although I did like the principal actors of the show. Ed O'Neill is a great actor and am happy he is on Modern Family which hopefully will be his legacy more than this crap show.

I just found the show depressing. Here is Al Bundy, actually an almost lovable Joe Palooka type guy in this absolutely loveless marriage to this horrid lazy ass woman Peg. Although Peg was sexy (and she was), and begged for sex, Al was so disgusted with her that he couldn't do the deed, but for some reason could not just leave the relationship. The wife Peggy was a lazy leech, refused to get a job, would not do work in the home, her cooking when she did was gross. She belittled her husband but demanded money from his meager wages from his mall job. The last happy memory of this 40 year old man was high school when he scored four touchdowns in a football game. Marrying Peg after getting her pregnant with the daughter thwarted any dreams and ambitions he had in his life if he had any in the first place. Al worked a job he absolutely hated and was humiliating to him as a woman's shoe salesman in the mall. He drove a crap car.

His two children had little to no respect for him. The son was a complete moron who could not get a date, and a sexy daughter who was also a moron who was kindly a sex addict sneaking boys in her bedroom. The kids were failures in life because of the household. Neither parent loved or cared about them, and the older sister lived to belittle to humiliate the younger brother, who was quickly heading down the road of failure and angst of the father, Al. Funny?

Then there is the annoying harpie neighbor across the street with the henpecked first husband who also hated his life who ran off, then the Ted McGinley husband who was also henpecked, but lived with this awful woman because he himself was too stupid or lazy to do anything with his life, and humilated by this worthless, opinionated wench. At least she had a professional job and did not sit around like Peg looking for a handout.

This crap show went on for years and years. It was on in the late 1980's, early 1990's, when I was in college and most of my male friends loved the series, basically because of Christina Applegate (cant blame them there). I watched a lot of episodes of this because my college friends liked/loved it.

When I was in China in the 00's, I actually bought a season of the show on DVD for cheap and my opinion of the series did not change. I know this show has a lot of fans, but to me, it was garbage, unless you laugh at depressing, hapless people. FOX is a crap network who keeps crap on forever and occasionally would have a great show they cancel after a year.

One man's opinion.

I just want to refresh my list:

The Nanny: I can't stand this show. I can't stand her voice, I can't stand any of the characters, and I can't believe this is actually supposed to be funny, because it isn't.

Married...With Children: I tried watching it once on Antenna TV but I found the characters really obnoxious and making me want to upchuck and it's really vulgar and I don't like the character of Al Bundy -- at all.

Little House on the Prairie: Okay, I understand why some people think it's a good show. It has good morals, values and everything, but for me it's so slow and reminds me of westerns like Bonanza and Gunsmoke that I already don't care for.

Gunsmoke and Bonanza: To me they kind of go into the same category because they are almost the same show. I don't really care for westerns to begin with, but these are just obnoxious and how they lasted as long as they did is beyond me.

The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin: I tried watching this show on Antenna TV years ago, but it just didn't do anything for me. I found it really bland and like those other stupid adventure shows like Flipper.

Flipper: It's kind of a weird show for me. I mean, I like dolphins and I love animals, and all, but this show gets really repetitive at times.

Malcolm in the Middle: Okay, maybe my most hated show EVER because I don't find it funny, I find it stupid and very childish. I prefer the Nanny to this pile of S***. It just makes me want to upchuck, mainly because I don't like any of the characters.

The Big Bang Theory: How in the world is supposed to be even remotely funny or good? It isn't. It's just about a bunch of nerds and one-liners with no plots or character development.

The Office: Again, to me this show is basically a bunch of one-liners and I really don't like it because of that because I like plots with actual people.

The Simpsons: Maybe the first couple of years were good, but it's gotten really vulgar these past few years. Same with Family Guy

Hogan's Heroes: I don't really get its sense of humor. If it really has one. I don't see why it's a "classic." It's just really dumb and full of obnoxious characters and a theme song that's really dumb as well.

F Troop: Okay, so I've never really seen a full episode of this show, but what I saw of it wasn't exactly turning me on to it.

I consider Little House on the Prairie to be a bona-fide western, because the town of Walnut Grove (I visited this town in 2009) is located west of the Mississippi Creek (It's seems like a creek after you've visited the Granddaddy of all rivers (That's the Amazon River for those of you in Rio Linda!).

I'm not picking on you or anything. I just thought I'd do a run down of your list and give my opinions. The only show I excluded was The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin because I've never seen it.

The Nanny - I agree that Fran's voice is annoying and from what I've seen of it isn't funny.

Married ... With Children - This show can be vulgar but I love it. Al Bundy, to me, is one of the all-time great sitcom characters. Obviously, the show is not for everybody (then again what show is?) but it's been one I've watched and enjoyed for a long time.

Little House on the Prairie - While I don't this is a bad show necessarily, I find it so depressing that I never intend to watch this show again, lol. I don't get dramas. Life is hard/depressing enough, why do people want to watch it on TV, too?

Gunsmoke and Bonanza - I actually love the early, black and white half hour version of Gunsmoke, which were the first six seasons. Once they went to the hour format and especially during the later seasons, it became boring. Like they were padding the episodes just to reach the hour mark. Bonanza is alright, I guess. But I never really watch it. Memorable theme song though!

Flipper - It's been such a long time since I've seen this that I don't remember anything about it. Except that it had a grown up and I believe two young boys and of course that dang Flipper.

Malcolm in the Middle - I never liked this show. It was always Malcolm making those faces like everyone else is soooo crazy except him. And all the characters (except for the dad) just seemed so annoying to me. And it's considered this smart show of the past decade, too.

The Big Bang Theory - I don't know. This show is alright. I haven't seen it in a few years though. I started watching it for Kaley Cuoco because I liked her in 8 Simple Rules... and I laugh when I watch it but I think it's more popular than it should be.

The Office - Now this is where I disagree with you. It's always felt like a character-driven show to me. Yes, it's quotable and yes it's one of those awkward comedies but it's funny and most of the characters are likable and you (well not *you* I mean the general "you") can root for them. But as the show went on, some of them because so exaggerated that they were annoying *cough* Kevin, Meredith *cough*.

The Simpsons - I loved this show as a kid but really haven't watched anything past season 11 and can't believe it's still on to be honest.

Hogan's Heroes - This is a show I never found funny. Slightly entertaining watching Hogan and his heroes carry out their schemes but it definitely isn't a knee slapper (at least to me).

F Troop - One of my favorites but as with everything, not for everybody. I just really liked Ken Berry in this show.

I never found Two and a Half Men funny. It's like the actors would speak and the audience would laugh and I'd wonder to myself "What are they laughing at?" When Charlie Sheen left, some viewers would bash the show saying how it's not funny ANYMORE. I'd go "It was never funny." But again, I'm having a new attitude, so I guess good for those people who find this show funny.

As for Modern Family, a co-worker is always telling me how funny it is but I've never seen it.

I know. I just stay away from that kinda thing

I'm not picking on you or anything. I just thought I'd do a run down of your list and give my opinions. The only show I excluded was The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin because I've never seen it.

Little House on the Prairie - While I don't this is a bad show necessarily, I find it so depressing that I never intend to watch this show again, lol. I don't get dramas. Life is hard/depressing enough, why do people want to watch it on TV, too?

I love dramas. Here are some of my favorites:
Remington Steele
The Streets of San Francisco
Dragnet (1960s)
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman
Knight Rider
Batman (1966)
21 Jump Street
The Commish
Hill Street Blues
St. Elsewhere
Matlock
Cannon
Murder, She Wrote
... to name a few.

OH Nuts!

I can't think of any shows I outright HATE, where I want to throw tomatoes at the screen. Usually a show that gets that kind of reaction from me I watch only once & banish from my memory.

But there are shows I'd classify as "I don't hate them, but don't really care for them." I'd say silly far-fetched rural comedies like "Green Acres" and "The Beverly Hillbillies" fall in this category. Another category are shows where one great character stands out but the others are kind of dull. "Mr. Ed" falls in this category. Ed was great but the other characters...YAWN.

I also detest shows with really poor writing. "Good Times" is an example. You know a show is bad when really good actors like Ester Rolle and John Amos can't save it. The only reason I'd occasionally watch it was for a great supporting character Wilona. Outside of her, I'd rather clean the bathroom than watch it.

My basic philosophy is there are so many great shows I pretty banish the MEDIOCRE ones into oblivion.

I don't like "CPO Sharkey" because it is just outright TRASH and wasn't even written by people who had written for television before. So there's MY reason for not liking that trash show: poor writing, poor acting.

I also think "George Lopez" is outright TRASH.

My list would probably be 5 pages long but I'll just pick the 3 shows that I absolutely can't stand.

Bonanza & Gunsmoke....or and westerns in general: The reason I can't stand these shows is because I think they're outright boring and barbaric. Also, my dad literally ran them in the ground beyond the point I actually HATE the shows.

Family Feud: I hate all versions of this show except for Richard Dawson & Ray Combs. Also, my reasoning is because my dad over-watches it on GSN...especially the perverted Steve Harvey version.

I think George Lopez the person is trash. I have read a number of his comments I thought were disgusting.

I saw part of a show of his on youtube and everyone was calling a woman a "white whore". I was not happy with them calling the character a "whore" but adding her race to it was just plain offensive on 2 levels to me.

The word "whore" if it must be used should be very rare. I find it demeaning.

Stuff like that really doesn't belong in a sitcom IMO.

They have really taken Family Feud into garbage territory. The questions are often set-ups for potty humor so Steve Harvey can make faces and get some cheap laughs. The fact that GSN has run it into the ground on endless repeats doesn't help matters.

If anyone gets on Family Feud they should always give the answer "sex" no matter what the question is because there is a good chance it is up there.

I also do detest shows with really poor writing, but also if a show comes on against a show that I like, then I stick with the show I like. "China Beach" and "Golden Girls" and "Empty Nest" in 1990 is a good example of that. I stuck with "China Beach", even though there were a lot of other people wanting to watch "Golden Girls" and "Empty Nest"

I think local news shows are absolutely obnoxious. The whole "Channel 2 was the first on the scene!" "Channel 2 was the only news crew on the scene." Making local personalities out of these people. One station in my hometown is just NEWS NEWS NEWS NEWS, every empty slot is NEWS. Then the weather guys, and how the station hypes them, I saw an ad online on their website calling them "Weather Experts". No, they're not. They are announcers telling you if it going to rain. I did a thread about local news a couple of months ago here.

My father hated Carol Burnett and the Carol Burnett Show. He also disliked me watching the local wrestling matches on TV as fake and ********. He also hated football with a passion, and he hated when 60 Minutes was preempted by the NFL game. He would literally get pissed off about it, moaning about when his precious show will come on.

Personally, I could about tell you the only things I watch currently on television much easier than the stuff I don't. The only sitcom I watch now religiously is MOM on CBS. Gave up on Modern Family (obnoxious wealthy Southern California family, I call it "The 1 percent family). Sort of given up on The Middle. Gave up on Big Bang. The only drama I watch is Law and Order SVU (which is awful, but Kelli Gillich in tight jeans and Marishka's ample cleavage makes crap tolerable). I have never seen Game of Thrones, nor have any inkling too. If it's on HBO it is about half naked dwarves riding dragons and dancing midgets singing curse words in Shakespearan English. Or not.

There is a website whee I watch TV from, and there is a current list of the 250 shows that day, and maybe I will pick one, if lucky two shows. No matter, there are sixty years of television.

I like Charles Shaunassy and have liked him since he was Shane Donovan ISA Agent on Days of Our Lives in the early 90's, but I cannot STAND Fran Drescher, which is why I hate "The Nanny."

I also hate "The Golden Girls" b/c I swear that show is so full of unfunny lines and annoying references to sex. It's like that's all the women think about. Plus it's so outdated, IMO. Those women no longer look like they're in their 60s, and to me that age really isn't "old" anymore. I watch a lot of that show only b/c I watch a lot of The Hallmark Channel and it comes on between The Middle and Frasier (shows I do like/love), but I've gotten to where I change the channel or turn it down when I see that it's on.

This is so funny that I found this reply b/c after the episode I watched tonight, I am going to do everything in my power NEVER to watch this show again! And if it weren't for Frasier and the Middle being on the Hallmark Channel and the fact that some of their movies are good, I would just boycott the station all together!

OMG, earlier tonight that episode "Till Death Do We Volley" was on, so I watched it out of laziness, b/c I didn't want to get up to change the station. It looked intriguing but when it was over I was so angry that I wanted to SCREAM! And it takes a LOT for a particular episode of any show to affect me that way. Ugh never again will I watch that horrible show. I wish I could ban it from my TV. And I am completely serious when I say that.

I believe Family Guy is an acquired taste . I didn't like it at first, but now I always look forward to it . Once you know Family Guy goes for shock value and you "know how it gets", you find yourself watching it to see what Stewie or Quagmire is going to say, etc .

Seinfeld because it's stupid and I can't take all that loud music in the background pinging and panging
Will and Grace it was stupid and not because they were gay.
Most reality Shows but I do like Dancing with the Stars.
Spiritual shows like Touch by an Angel or The Mentalist. I think they can make you believe that stuff like that does happen in real life and I really do believe in Angels but things don't always work out all the time, that's life.

I can't stand The O'neals. It's stupid and a knock off of the Goldbergs. 2 brook Girls is also stupid and if anybody acted like that as a waitress in real life they would be fired in a heartbeat. I hate Hawaii 5 o and I never like the original show. The Voice is also a show I can't stand and also the Batchlor/Batchloett. I don't really believe you can find true love on a reality TV show even if one or 2 people do. Most of them go home after the show is over and hate each other for various reasons even though they were engaged on the show. One girl a few season back was crying because she didn't get a rose and this other girl did and she said she was smarter then the other girl and some other reasons I forget. I said, come on get over it. It's a stupid reality show, go home and find somebody else in your hometown. Love isn't about being smart or pretty necessarily but mostly about chemistry. I hated American Idol especially when Simon was on. Stupid people who thought they could sing, couldn't and Simon would really be mean to them. I also couldn't stand some of the other judges. I also hated America's got Talent. Some of the people didn't have talent but really thought they could win a million dollars. The first season the judges would fight with each other and Pierce would buzz the person even almost as soon as they came out without giving them a chance.

You have an interesting list. Here's my opinion on your list

The Nanny- The only thing that prevents me from watching this show is Fran Dreschers voice. I'd actually enjoy this show if it weren't for her voice.

Married With Children- Yes this show can be crass and raunchy at times , but nonetheless, its a great show.

Little House On The Prairie- I get why many may not like this show , but I find it to be one of my favorite dramas. Michael Landons acting is superb along with the rest of the cast. The setting of the show is good too , its makes me want to live in those times.

Gunsmoke And Bonanza- Two of my favorite westerns ever. Gunsmoke was arguably better in its early years, but I love the color episodes more. Bonanza was always good with the cast and characters on the show

The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin - I haven't seen much of it.

Flipper- I've only heard of this only recently ,but what I saw it looks great.

Malcolm In The Middle- Its been years since I saw this show. But when I watched it , I enjoyed it and would not mind owning the DVDs of the show.

The Big Bang Theory - Not my cup of tea

The Office- I don't like this show

The Simpsons- I don't get the hate for the new Simpsons. Sure , it isn't as good as it use to be , nevertheless, its still a good show.

Hogans Heroes - There is nothing funny about a comedy set in Nazi war camp.

F-Troop- Sad to see it last only 2 years. Good show with good acting and good plots

Now that Donald Trump is not too far off from officially being the President of the United States (the inauguration is Friday), I thought I'd say that that Apprentice show of his is something that I never, ever, ever liked. That was what really solidified my strong dislike of him. Granted, he's no longer there (IIRC, Arnold Schwarzenegger is on it now presiding over a celebrity version), but still, I never liked The Apprentice before, and never will now.

"2 Broke Girls" is one of the worst shows I've ever seen. Sometimes I try to give it another chance, since it's on all the time, someone must be watching it for a reason. The way the two main actresses deliver their lines is so awful. The flashy blonde woman is amusing sometimes, but it's not enough to get me to happily watch the show.

I used to think that "Married With Children" was awful, but I watched a couple of episodes a few days ago and it's not as bad as I remember. The mother and father on that show have done other roles that I have liked them in, and that has given me an appreciation of the actors in their younger days.

On the other hand, I used to like "Little House On the Prairie" when I was a kid but now I can't watch an episode, it's just too fake to me, and I can see how Michael Landon just wanted the viewers to cry about something, and when he used kids being hurt or sad to get that emotion out of viewers, I find it especially pathetic.

Here we go lol

Friends- Easily the most overrated sitcom ever, imo.

Frasier- I never got the humor, very dry to me.

George Lopez Show- Angie is so hot but George is SO annoying.

Alf- I'm shocked I haven't seen this mentioned. A prime example of a show I sort of liked as a kid but seeing it years later I was like UGH this is awful.

Small Wonder- See Alf explanation.

Big Bang Theory- Loved it at first but quickly just became meh. Not to mention David from Roseanne's character being unbearable.

Family Guy- Was great in its first run and even for a season or two when it came back. But then it became well ********, in creative and overly political. The constant Anti Right Wing and Anti Christian stuff turned me off forever.
