Because of how slow the boards are these days, I am doing whatever I can think of to stimulate some conversation about some of these fine shows! If you go down to my thread titled "Unpopular" you will get to read all about my fondness for old-timer Hazel Shermet. You might be amused by some of the peoples' responses as well as some of my responses to these responses! However, for those of you who do not want to back-track, I will just tell you upfront what episodes she appeared in. In season two she was in "Shoplifting" and in season three she appeared in "Green Eyed Monster". The people who have responded to me have referred to her as everyting from a "forgettable extra" to "the lady with the big hair". In any event, a while back, a friend that I met on this very site alerted me to an interview that was conducted in 2000 and that, as far as I know, is still up on "Youtube" right now. Throughout this interview, she talked quite a bit about her career both before and after her two appearances on this series. On thing that stuck in my mind was her recolection of a time that she was in a commercial for a bank. For this evdevor, she was hoisted up on a chairlift to make it look like she was coming down on a parachute. She explained how she was wearing a skirt at the time and there was a prodominantly male crew on the ground! She said that luckily she was wearing pantyhose so that there was something between their eyes and her jewels! Hearing a babe like Hazel Shermet talk about pantyhose was an experience that I thought was too good to be true!
