I like the way TV land does he closing credits, they are now at the very bottom of the screen and not interfering with the closing scene. Wish N@N could do the same so we can see the Family Matters final scenes. Am I the only who thinks what TV land does with the closing credits is very CREATIVE???

I want to know why N@N promos over the credits for Family Matters and The Nanny, but not George Lopez, Home Improvement, or Roseanne. I can't help but notice the two shows they do it for are the newest acquistions.

TV Land totally cuts out the end credits, so no I don't want that. They show their own credits over a scene before the original end credits if you haven't noticed. It would work for a show with generic credits but not Family Matters or most shows on N@N(other than Cosby which is now gone).

I would take N@N doing their own closing credits instead of what they are doing now. Maybe it's just me but I kind of like TV land's new way of removing the closing theme. Now if they can find a way to REVAMP the opening credits of the Jeffersons that would be great

I too like the way TV Land does their closing credits. Being that I don't care to watch them I would much rather see the closing scene. But yeah N@N can take a lesson.

The opening and closing credits of shows should be left alone. They should be seen in their original state -- full screen. It's bad enough they cut a few minutes out of classic shows for more commercial crap.

I hate seeing credits scrunched to the bottom or side of the screen while another ad runs.

And I wish they'd keep pop up and banner ads off of all shows while I'm trying to watch.

Ok you are right about the opening setting the tone for the show but I just think TV land's style of the new closing should be a new syndicated way of ending a show.

I didn't think people looked at closing credits anymore just final scenes. And if the final scene was part of the closing credits then that's the only time they watched. Like for me do I really need to see the closing credits of Good Times or the Jeffersons?-lol

Many times, the closing credits would have theme music that was unique to them, like "Remembering You," the piano instrumental that played over the end credits of All In The Family. It was part of the experience of watching the show.

And often times, I watched the closing credits to find out who the guest actors were.

Well when it's generic closing credits, then the opening. Most of the old shows I watch have awesome theme songs.

Well, at least on the DVDs, you can skip the opening credits if you like.
