One thing that I have posted quite a bit about lately is my failed attempts to stimulate any conversation about this fine sereis! Just look at how long it has been since anyone other than me has posted anything! One thing that I have done in between times that I have come here is went to a bunch of other pages on this site to see what other shows have bottled up peoples' time and effort. One page in which the posts just keep pouring in is the "Golden Girls"! The vast majority of threads there are about Bea Arthur in general and her recent death in particular. Fans are really having a hard time putting that loss behind them! Another page that is also getting quite a workout is "Happy Days". There seem to be two current events about this show that are sparking peoples' interest. One of them is an upcoming porn movie or sereis based on this show! Can you guys beleive a porn version of "Happy Days"? What will come next, a porn version of "Gimme a Break!"? The other thing that people are posting a lot about over there is an upcoming book by the babe who played Joanie. However, two shows that I liked a lot but have had very little success in stimulating any conversation about are "Friends" and "Caroline in the City". On the other hand, one show that is from the same generation as those two that I did generate a couple of responses to was "Mad About You". I recently started a thread on that page and called it "Disrespect from 'Cheers' Fans". I would be very interested in what any of you guys think of the thread or any of its responses!
