Sometimes it seems that Jay Leno stretches too much for a joke, creating a situation where it goes from "playfully insulting" to over the line. On Friday he had Jamie Lee Curtis on, and she was talking about her daughter graduating from college. Curtis plays along and gets a kick out of Jay's teasing, but then Jay has an edgy joke that seems to come out of nowhere.

Thanks for posting the link! Must be my computer because that video took forever to load and then it cuts off before he even mentions the stripper thing. But you could tell she was getting agitated at his insistance on making fun of her daughter's choice of majors. He should have just let it go and let her brag about her daughter's success. That's surprising that Jay chose to go the other route. Not like him at all.

I agree Andrea, it seems that Jay painted himself in a corner and couldn't get out of it. You should never, joke about somebody's family.
