For quite some time, I have been watching the boards and taking note of what pages seem to be getting the posts or even views and what have not. Once actress Bea Arthur passed away, the "Golden Girls" page was getting posts non-stop! It was really a site to see! Once I read about it, I left a message on that page offering my condolences. As a way of honoring her, I stopped posting for the rest of the day. In between then and now, I have done all that I could to stimulate some conversation about this sereis as well as some of my other favorites. I have had very little success! However, the "Golden Girls" page would get posts around the clock for what seemed to be the longest time! It seemed that the novelty of that event would not wear off! However, at this stage in the game, it seems that the posts on that page have slowed down to a trickle. It has been over twenty-four hours since anyone has posted anything new on that page. I guess that fans are finally able to put that loss behind them. However, one page in which the posts have really started to pick up was "Cheers". I thought that you guys might be interested in this because "Cheers" seemed to be popular with the same generation of viewers as "Gimme a Break!" Like with most shows, the fans on this page would compare "Cheers" with other shows that they either liked or disliked. One post that I strongly disagreed with was one that spoke negatively about "Mad About You"! This was my favorite show for the longest time! Helen Hunt is one of the few babes who can make me drool even more than Lauri Hendler "Julie Kinisky". After I expressed my dsiagreement on that page, I went over to the "Mad About You" page and told my buddies there about the whole situation. For the record, that page has also been very slow for the past few months!
