I just came across a new DVD (4 ep set) from Alpha that had this ep on it. It's a charming ep with June upset that Dave won't remember the 1 yr. anniv. from the night he proposed to her. Dave, the charmer, comes through at the end.

Actually this DVD was a pleasant surprise. Usually, Alpha DVD's show eps that are cut and w/o commercials, but the 4 eps on it ran 28-29 minutes and had all the commercials. I now have 3 more eps (alr. had The Editor) . It's always a nice surprise when I come across new eps. BTW, the eps on this DVD are #287 A Lawnmower For Ozzie", #163 The Editor, #319 The Special Cake and #275 The Table And The Painting. I got the DVD at J&R.

Happy viewing everyone!

I've seen the lawmower ep, but not the others. Speaking of cakes, ever seen the ep about June's pies? (okay, not cakes, but close enough). It's hilarious. Dave agrees to go on a tv show and taste pies, and recognize which one of the 3 pies is June's. Ever tasted a pie with salt instead of sugar? lol!

Let me see what I find on J&R website. I always just buy my Ozzie's right from the store in their Ozzie & Harriet section.

When I go to J&R website and type in Ozzie and Harriet Volume eleven shows up on pg 2. But its $4.99 plus shipping - so I don't know if its worth it for one disc ...

I have to admit Jude I'm a dummy when it comes to shopping on the Internet. I'm woefully old-fashioned in that I just like to walk into a store and buy it off the shelf. But that's probably not the cheapest way although J&R's prices are pretty good. I only bought one set on the Internet and it was The Essential Ozzie & Harriet 100 ep set by Mill Creek. I got it at QVC. But...had I waited another week I could have got it at J&R for $3 less (but I didn't care...I REALLY WANTED THE SET NOW!

oh they have a website? (Alpha?) (found it......oldies.com)

I'm not conviently located to J&R , so my options are tad limited.

DeepDiscount--nada......

You know what? it's not that important to get this right here, right now. I'll wait until J&R or Buy gets more in stock (I use loyalty programs to buy items and get points, etc).

I'm sure J&R will get more. Actually I go there a lot so I'll mention it to a mgr. that they're out of stock. (J&R is a great store and the woman who the prez is a crackerjack businesswoman.)

Well I did business with them anyway--not O&H, but three Sunset Carson DVDs for my dad's Father's Day gift. So they got my business anyway :)

Yes us:lol:

I got this great Here's Lucy set (24 eps) for $6.99 and it has a great ep with a cameo by Jackie Gleason. Of course, now, if they had had one of the Nelson's on it (or all) then it would be pure gold. So now I have all of I Love Lucy, and a decent sampling of eps from The Lucy Show & Here's Lucy. That will keep me busy for a while. I am hoping Mill Creek will do another one of their fabulous O&H sets (or SHOUT!). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I'm all ready for another Mill Creek set!!!!

This company puts out classy collections--such as the best of Boris Karloff, Johnny Carson's 1950s TV appearances, etc

As for TV shows, I just finished (at last) Family Affair season one. I have some others to finish while others will be ordered soon--PJ 2, Donna Reed 2, Father Knows Best 3 and Lucy Show 1.

Hey Rich, got the notification that the Volume 11 DVD was again in stock at Buy.com--so I ordered it, with budget shipping--$7.89, not too bad :)

Do you have a clue if any of the other volumes has episodes not covered in other collections?
