I've seen this movie like a million times, and I love it- it's just a great moral m...2 of the kids in the class fought each other, I'm pretty sure some kid kills himself at the end and theirs an african american teenager who becomes pregnant but is really bright...ayways, this teacher at first can't seem to help them and sort of gives up, only to keep trying...she rewards them, gives them poetry to read etc. She made the kids read the lyrics to "Tambourine Man" by Bob Dylan and she takes the one kid out to dinner, as a reward for something he did (i forget what)...its a drama movie and the kids are in high school...and have drugs, attitude and behavior problems. i had the name of the movie on the tip of my tongue I can't think of it. Does anybody know? I wanna know the name of the movie, and what year it came out....

also i recommend this movie to anybody- if i could THINK of the name of it- lol..
