Happy Mothers Day weekend!

Saturday - not sure yet other than sleeping in. Sunday I am going to church, to the cemetery to drop off some flowers at my friend Doug's grave (his birthday happened to be May 10th), and then spending the rest of Mother's Day with my mom.

Friday night I am planning to go to a citywide worship service at our city's brand new 7000 seat arena. This will be the first event in the new arena. Sunday morning I am going to church and in the afternoon spending time with Mom. So far no plans for Saturday.

Tomorrow- I plan to get something for my mom for mother's day.

Saturday- I have to work Saturday night, not sure what I'll do during the day.

Sunday- Relaxing and spending time with my mom :)

On Friday I'm going to be helping a friend move, and help her do some work on her house. On Saturday, I'm doing a Charity walk for breast cancer, so that'll be cool. On Sunday I'm probably going to be taking my mom out for Mother's Day. Dinner, and a movie of her choosing. That's my plans for the weekend. Actually quite busy for my standards. I have to mentally prepare myself for all of it.

Hmmm, tomorrow I'll probably just relax and do some homeowork.
Saturday, I'm going to finish the homeowork lol. I also have some major chores and room-cleaning to catch up on.
Sunday, go to church as normal, and probably cook dinner with my mom, and just spend tons of time with her. :D

I agree! Great job with doing something for a great cause, especially breast cancer... I've lost a lot of loved ones from that. :(

I'm so sorry to hear that Mattie!! :( Fortunately I have been blessed, and haven't lost anyone too close to me to it, so I can only imagine how it must feel to go through something like that, and my heart definitely goes out to you. May God Bless those who you have lost to this terrible disease!!! :heart: :hug:

Thanks Kyle, I appreciate your kind words. :D The way I see it, donating a little money, and walking for awhile, is the least I can do for such a great cause. I'm looking forward to doing more in the future. As for my mom, I'd do anything for her. She has done so much for me, and has put up with me for close to 28 years now, and there's nothing I can ever do to pay her back for that, but God knows I'll never stop trying. :)

I'm pet/house sitting for my aunt and uncle. Their siamese cat had kittens four weeks ago. I'll be staying at their house. So I will be having fun playing with the kittens. Sometime tomorrow I'm going to see Star Trek with a couple of friends. On Sunday I'll be meeting up with mom to go out to dinner or something.

That sounds good, I hope to start watching my Barney Miller dvd too. I have to work saturday night & sunday night but we plan on taking my mom & hubby's mom out tonight for an early Mother's Day supper.

Today probably doing things around the house like finishing me records list.


Tomorrow a friend is having a birthday party and will probably go there.

Sunday I am covering a friends radio show, and then I will go see my mother.

I don't know what I will be doing. Worked today and tomorrow I work. I did buy her a card and usually don't take her out to dinner on Mother's Day since it's always so crowded.

My mom's hip was bothering her so she went to the doctor Tuesday and he did some test by testing the leg and stuff. Wednesday morning she went for x-rays so the doctor can check it but she did work those two days even though she had some pain and tried to stay off the leg.

Yesterday she stayed home cause she wanted to see if she can try to stay off the leg by not walking. While I was at work, doctor called back and said it was minor arthritis of the hip and gave her a different pain killer. I think she's been taking too much painkillers because she's had nausea and stuff and didn't go to work today. She said the pain isn't too bad for her leg but does have a limp when she walks since it has hurt her. She sees an orthopedic doctor later this month and hopefully the doctor can give her some help.

She's okay if she lays still and doesn't walk and stuff but when she walks, it hurts.

Kills me to see how much pain she is in when she walks and sometimes I just feel like not going to work but then, what can I do?

Working every day until Monday morning.

I'm not sure exactly what plans might be this weekend. I do know my mother wants to go out to eat on Sunday.

I have a few Frasier discs from Blockbuster that I plan to watch this weekend. :) I have disc 4, Season 2 and discs 3 & 4 of Season 4. Once I see those three I will have seen Seasons 1-4 so far. :)

I ended up taking my mom out tonight for Mother's Day. She rather do that because she hates dealing with the big crowds on that day. Plus I have to work Sun.

Working tomorrow, too!!:p
