NOT sign with the Vikings, is to stay retired....and will not come back....no I'm serious

Story just broke...

Yahoo sports is reporting that according to a source close to the Minnesota Vikings, the team will not sign quarterback Brett Favre.

According to the source, Favre told Head Coach Brad Childress of his decision during a phone call on Wednesday.

If this is indeed true, a lot of speculation and media attention will stop as the NFL world has been waiting to see if Favre would indeed come out of retirement a second time as a Minnesota Viking.

This would also be relief for current Vikings quarterbacks Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels, who are expected to compete for the starting quarterback job in training camp.

Stay tuned as it seems no answer is ever final with Bret

But Favre has that little thing called a Super Bowl ring  What does Rosenfels have?

Absolutely NOTHING- lol. You are invested in a total loser. If he does well this year and you stick with him, I'll give you credit, but I doubt he'll be anything but a old a$$ bust lol.
