It's been five years since "Friends" went off the air, but fans are still anxiously waiting to see if Ross and Rachel managed to stay together in that time period.
But when MTV News asked Jennifer Aniston if, much like "Sex and the City," we'd ever see a reunion movie from the "Friends" gang, she seemed unsure that the idea would ever come to fruition.
"They do want to know that all the time," she said at the junket for her new flick, "Management" (in theaters May 15). "I don't think so, and if they do, they should hurry up."
It's not that Aniston is opposed to the idea of getting the gang back together, but she is opposed to it happening with a geriatric gang. "Well, it's been off the air, but you also don't want it to be that reunion show or movie where you see — like when the 'Brady Bunch' had a reunion and they were old."
Aniston was certainly game for a mini-"Friends" reunion: Her "Management" co-star Steve Zahn guest-starred as Phoebe's husband for one episode. "We've known each other since that 'friendship' show — in Japan it's called 'The Friendship Show,' " she joked. "Yeah, it was a couple years ago. He did the second season."
Zahn, who also acted alongside Aniston in 1998's "The Object of My Affection," is amazed that all these years later, people still remember him from "Friends." "I did one show," he said. "I still have people walk up to me ... all the time [and say], 'You're Phoebe's husband!' That was three days out of my life!"
