did you catch any of the Phillies-Cardinals game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis tonight or see the highlights??? Cards center and former pitcher Rick Ankiel, in the 7th or 8th inning dove for the ball, caught it- but his momentum drove and he crashed into the wall & padding and seemed knocked out. They said he never lost conscienceness, but was taken out on a stretcher- yet he still waved to fans and seemed in it, and went to the hospital. They also said Cards manager Tony La Russa went to the hospital, visited him and stayed with him ALL night, in the hospital by his bed- sitting in a chair.

I thought that was really special for Tony to do that for Rick, but I wondered if you or any other MLB fans saw it. It was a BIG HIT at the time but he's ok now.
