Sage Rosenfels is a better QB and I had the Vikings doing good things this year and they are interviewing this stupid mutherF*cker who can never make up his mind? Why would the vikings want to interview a 40 year old QB who is interception prone and slower?

YOU HAVE SAGE ROSENFELS and don't need tp bring this a$$hole on. I always went through the roof when I heard this on ESPN

Of course I have and if he was that good, he wouldn't be COMPETING for a starting job with Tavaris Jackson. Isn't he the same QB who choked away a lead when playing for the Texans?

Yes Tavaris needs to be mopping Floors and I agree he stinks, but what does Ferortte have to do woth Rosenfels??? Rosenfels has a arm, very accurate, and can run. Ferotte can't run and is interception prone

Going by your logic, Rosenfels > Favre. Quite a few QBs can do what Rosenfels can, plus. Brady, both Mannings, Cutler, Rivers, Jason Campbell, Favre, Warner, and Romo just to name a few. All of those guys are at least equal to Rosenfels. He's an average QB that keeps bouncing around.

Because teams didn't want to give him a chance. The Dolphins never made him the starter because of Jay Fedler in 2002-2004. And Houston have the opportunity to make him a starter and got rid of him.

by the way, he has only played for two teams, Miami, and Houston

Well that doesn't help but even after that he has proven that he is a LOSER. He got Eric Magini fired because he threw interceptions and another team wants him? Why would the vikings want him and he didn't lead the Jets to the playoffs??

The Superbowl is a bit of a stretch. The playoffs are almost guaranteed as the Vikings are a far better defensive team than the Jets. Favre had the Jets at 8-3 and the #3 seed in the AFC, which is a very competitive conference. The Vikings, in a much weaker conference, can easily go 12-4 or 13-3. But to be honest, even at 13-3, I still see them losing to a team like the Eagles or Giants.

Yeah, he only was 8-3 at one time...in a NEW setting, NEW playbook, new teammates- you act like it's easy to be an NFL qb and adjust to a new team. you have to read 200 some pages at least, of plays....you have to adjust to receivers and your running backs, TEs etc. tendencies. You just go by stats every single time.

And he didn't get Mangini fired. He got himself fired for 2 non-playoff seasons the past 2 years. Was Favre their when Eric was 4-12?? No.

So what is it that the Vikings want??? They obbviusly were impressed with Rosenfels stats as a starter to make a trade for him. Farve is DONE

Did you not read my prior posts? He throws at a higher TD rate and a lower INT rate. It's the same thing in basketball. Guys that average 10 APG and upwards(ex: Nash, Paul, Kidd, Stockton) also turn the ball over more. However, they still have a higher assist/turnover ratio then someone like Derrick Rose or Rajon Rondo.

He's still not the better option. I just proved that Favre, even with more INT's thrown, he throws them at a lower rate, throws TD's at a higher rate, and has a higher completion %. Even if he is well past his prime, he's still better and I'd gladly take him over Rosenfels. Favre has been to the Pro Bowl 10 times and is a 3 time All-Pro. He's a first ballot Hall of Famer.
