no; the finale had Bob giving up his practice and the Hartlys moving.

They wanted to do a show where Emily had a baby; but when they told Bob he said "Fine, but who are you going to get to play my role"?:lol:

It meant that Bob would not do that show, he did not like the idea, and would not do it, so someone else would have to play Dr. Hartley in the last show if they went through with that story line...
