Well 65-42 now that Scalebrannie hit a three but this game is still over. No way are the Magic losing a
65-42 lead with 7:57 left in the 3rd qtr.

Orlando has shut down Pierce, Ray Alen, and Rondo

Watch out for the Magic, if they can beat the Celtics, I think they'll give the Cavaliers a run for their money.

I still don't trust a team that lives and die by the jumpshot. They can fall apart at any minute if their shots are not falling.

Dwight Howard is having his way with Boston's bigs and will the entire series. He's on pace for a good 20 rebounds. The only problem is Orlando plays almost identical to the 2002 Celtics: Live and die by the 3 pointer.

Yeah that 2002 Celtics team pissed me off so much because all they did was shoot three's. I really wanted them to go to the Finals after making it to the 3rd round

I swear if you closed your eyes for 30 seconds, there would have been at least 2 three pointers attempted by either Pierce, Walker, or Rodney Rogers. Orlando plays the same way. You have Turkoglu, Reddick, or Lewis jacking up a three and Dwight Howard slamming in an offensive rebound. Prior to Jameer Nelson getting hurt, that team consisted of a defensive powerhouse and four shooting guards. Their bench is average at best.

That Celtics team didn't have a good Big Man so they had to rely on jump shooting. I remember they were down 30 to the Nets in Game 3 and came back and wion. Then in game 4 they got down by 30 again-lol

well the lead is 16 going into the 4t qtr so t's not over yet if they can cut the lead to 8 by the 8 min mark. If they are still down by 12 around the 6 min mar then I will say Magic has Game 1

Tony Battie was their best big, who oddly enough is playing for Orlando right now.

At this point, they need to ignore the 3 and just kill the clock and get the ball to Dwight.

Rondo is playing like a 34th round pick tonight. He just had a steal and just fell down and the Magic got the ball back and hit a three-lol

That's because once they get up by 26 points they don't slow the game down and go inside. They still shoot threes and then start missing and alow the other team to get back into it. But if they played more of a smart half court game and went inside, their big leads would be safer

Here is why the Celtics really lose

Rondo had 7 turnovers and 4 pts from the field. I know he had 14 pts but I'm not counting the 10 pts from the foul line

Not to mention Ray Allen was 2/11 from the field....he's overrated, especially when it comes to the playoffs.

Ray Ray will be on point in game 2

perhaps you did not see how BAD ray ray was in last year's playoffs? lol.

He averaged 14.9 points- barely shot over 40% of from the field. For the first 2/3 rounds, he shot as bad as he did in last night's game- but for a WHOLE SERIES. That is unacceptable- especially for a previously proven veteran like Allen who's been in the league 13 years. He's not clutch AT ALL. He can make as many 3 pointers as he wants- 4, 5, 6 of em in a game etc. but if it's when the celtics are winning in the first quarter, or blowing out a team by 20/30 points in the 4th quarter, sh*t is meaningless...

solomon, you are the one to judge a player by one game- CC Sabathia, Brett Favre & their was somebody else I forget, that you criticized as well- YET Ray Allen has sucked for 2 years straight in the playoffs. He was absolutely horrible in 3 out of the 4 rounds last year and Boston went the limit, and won it all- and last night he reverted to his old ways from last year. Unexcuseable. You are the king of blaming player's for one game's bad outing, yet Allen has sucked for 2 years, or hasn't been up to par I'll say, cause he's had great games so far this postseason- the 53 points game and others, unlike last night's performance, but he's sucked and you've given him the benefit of the doubt. I don't understand it- lol. You are giving that fool a MULLIGAN, on some Terry Francona sh*t lol. I don't know- he might suck again in Game 2, especially if he goes in on Dwight Howard and gets rejected.

What hurts the celtics is that Ray Allen and Eddie House are too one-dimensional and only can shoot 3's. If they could also dribble and score by driving to the basket then their three would be a great weapon.

Ray used to do that, but age has limited him to being a pure shooter. House was always one dimensional.
