FSU, I'm going to say this again. If you are a fan of a team who just lost a BIG GAME and your team is eliminated you don't want to see the players smiling and chatting it up on the court and shaking hands because it gives the game a STAGED LOOK


like the players already knew the outcome and that's why they don't look mad

But why does it have to be called anything? A man doesn't have the right to just leave off the court with his teammates after a tough loss? I would think poor sportsmanship is if a Hawks player EXTENDED their hand for Wade to shake it and then he just walked pass and blew him off.

I'm surprised to hear that. I know Wade is upset and shows his emotions, but I thought he would at least show sportsmanship and shake hands. I wouldn't be mad if he didn't shake hands with Josh Smith who dunked the ball meaninglessly in Game 5, but everybody else, and standing with his teammates- their should be a level of respect & class their...if he came back out and shaked hands, i would even be fine with that. I know he was upset and needed to cool down and get ahold of himself, but Dwayne Wade is a great player, a classy guy in general and the star of the Heat- so he needs to represent his team much better. At least my prediction fell through lol. I had the Hawks winning the series in 7, but it was a good series. Not as good as the Bulls-Celtics one, but then again, it's hard to match the intensity shown in that series but a good series. Congrats to Atlanta.

no i don't remember that lol- that's pretty funny though....that was the clinching win too for LA. do you think fish was trying to be an a$$hole their after winning it all in the decisive win, or just lookin for him to shake hands as a good person? I would say he was showing good sportsmanship; making sure to shake hands with the star & best player of the opponent- but it's possible he could be doing a little bit of showboating as well, it happens but that's an interesting story.

and yeah i agree, but I wonder what wade said on the post-game conferences, when he was on the mic? I still would of liked to see him shake his hand, even if he was sad, mad, depressed, upset & disappointed- ya know?

Not sure, because Allen Iverson was basically a inch away from being in the lockeroom and for Fisher to be so agressive in running after iverson to shake his later looked like Showboating. I would have probaby SWUNG on him if I was Iverson like-"Get the F*Ck out my face" LOL

i agree- it seems to be an action intended to bother or annoy somebody purposely lol- and to rub their face in it.

and that sucks..i twas like 2 days, maybe 3 before they replied to me...so give it another day or so lol.

You can be pissed off and still show sportsmanship. I always liked Dwyane Wade. I always thought he was better than that. When the Pistons beat the Cavs in '06, I ripped LeBron for doing the same thing. No one cares about sportsmanship anymore.

I don't think you understand my point. A crushing defeat in game 7 of the Finals makes it very hard for a guy who lost to shake hands and have a conversation. I seen many NBAplayers do it like Magic, Bird, Isiah Thomas, Barkley.

The Pistons did it to the Bulls in '91 and Isiah's reasoning was the Celtics did it to them. Two wrongs don't make a right. In high school ball and possibly college too, you have to congratulate the opposing team. Why should the pros be exempt from sportsmanship?

If two teams don't like each other then I don't think it's necessay. Celtics and Pistons of 86-89 era didn't like each other, Bulls and Pistons didn't like each other either from 88-92 era
