please pray for my daddy hes dying in pittsburgh hospital he got lot illness empozemia copd canceer they trying so hard to take care of him down there he on bed with tube down his throat helping him breathe

this been so hard on me and my family with in few months i loose my bf kenzie and now going loose my daddy he might be there for hole summer this worst thing that could ever happen to us right now

he dont want be there he want be home with his family,im so scared hes my daddy please pray for him please

Is he on oxygen? Is he on it all the time? Was he still smoking at all?

Sorry for asking so many questions, just curious. My mom was on the oxygen 24/7 for the last 2 years but she was STILL smoking. :eek:

thanks this means a lot to me really does and i heard from my mom she going to meeting tomorrow in pittsburg for the doctors and they going decide what to do

they are afraid to do a operation or byopsey ooc however it spelled they are afraid of death his heart is enlarged and he can not take it being so weak and very sick.

we been trying make ourselves happy by talking about the good times and how good it be when he comes home if he comes home mom hoping it be shortly iam 2

not sure i can handle this anymore i have not cried this much since my friend kenzie was killed n february

and when my cat died hit n run last november then my dog dies before easter last year

so been rough couple years for us really has

Oh Mike, this is so sad. This is just how my mother went. We had to make the decision too.
I know how hard it is to let go. If it helps at all, once they go, their suffering is over - all pain and struggling to breath is over for good for them. It's a very unselfish act of love to allow someone to go to heaven before you want them too. Your daddy understands that. And he'll going knowing how much his family loves him. When the time comes, go out that night and look into the sky. The brightest star will be your daddy looking down on you telling you that his pain is over and he's now watching over you forever.

i was not even there when it happend rest of my family was,they want me remember him way he was happy full of life just good person be around when he was in his good days.

Mike L I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad back in 1992 to truly horrible circumstances which I won't get into, but the other night I was going through some old pictures and I found myself in tears, overwhelmed by memories.

I don't really know what to say except to please pass on my condolences to your family. This is a very difficult time and I along with others are very touched that you chose to post about it on the board, but we understand if you need to stay away from it for a while. Message boards can be very therapeutic.

Don't let anyone tell you to "get over it". Just take your own time to grieve and heal. I learned that lesson the hard way.
