Reality star Jon Gosselin is firing back at reports that he has been stepping out on his wife Kate, whose lives with their eight children are showcased on TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8.

"Like most people, I have male and female friends and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV," he says in a statement. "However, being out with them late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them."

I was gonna post this; him being in hot water per say. Jon is a really good guy. Kate is a loud mouth but a nice, family oriented woman but she tries to takeover everything, including what Jon can do & his life. I like them both, and they have wonderful, beatiful young kids- can't put them in danger. I understand he has friends and he should e allowed that priviledge; to be able to hang out with them, male and female, without being questioned. I wish them both the best of luck in this.
