Get Ready to Fear Humpy Dumpty

When an female alien is, ahem, "abused" by two rednecks, she gives birth to a human-creature hybrid that goes on a killing spree in Humpy Dumpty.

No joke. This is the latest film from David Ellis (Snakes on a Plane, Final Destination 3D) who is shooting the film in 3-D for producers Mark Ordesky and Fabienne Villette. The script is being written by Billy Majestic.

Production begins this September with Amber Entertainment, iDream Company, Instinctive Film and Intandem Films overseeing the picture. That's a whole lotta companies putting their faith in one wacky concept! I can't wait to hear who's handling creature FX.

I can't wait for this to come out; I like the concept.

It sounds interesting and it could be a great horror movie. The "abuse" of a female alien sounds like an aspect that has never been done in horror or sci-fi movies.

I say why not? I enjoyed Darkenss Falls about the evil tooth fairy, lol.

I think it looks eggcellent, no yoke, I'm totally serious. I crack myself up. And I'm always up for any 'hickspoitation' flick(heck, I love Redneck Zombies)

Though I don't know how it could possibly compete with these cinematic masterpieces -

The 3-D sci-fi horror pic scripted by Billy Majestic is about a half-human, half-alien creature who embarks on a murderous rampage after his alien mother is abused by two rednecks in the Deep South.

New Line Cinema is set to release the film here in the States. Ellis' Final Destination: Death Trip 3D hits theaters August 28th.

I've heard some pretty whacked-out sh*t about Humpty Dumpty, the film David Ellis was supposed to do before he got tied up with a few other projects. The script is here waiting for me to read, and I'm curious to see how the story plays out.




At the film's official site, they've posted a bit of the story in comic book form. Apparently, it's being groomed as a graphic novel before it reaches the screen.

Mark Ordesky and Fabienne Villette are set to produce the script which was penned by Billy Majestic.
