It has been almost a week since actress Charlotte Rae has turned eighty-three years old. For those of you who are not familiar, she played Edna Garrett on the "Facts of Life". Just like "Gimme a Break!" (see thread below) this was another of my favorite shows from the eighties! In any event, there are two essential reasons why I am first telling you guys about it. In the first place, about a week ago, there was some complication in the system that kept my posts from going through. Being that posting here is my favorite hobby, it was most frustrating! Since I have been back, I have done what I could to make up for lost time! However, while I was posting yesterday, I went to the "Golden Girls" page and learned some very sad news! Bea Arthur passed away! As a way of honoring her, I abstained from any more posting for the rest of the day. Since I started today, I have brought up a lot of threads regarding other attractive older babes. For those of you who are new to this site, this is a tradition that I have every time a sexy chick has a birthday past forty. In addition to responding to the thread about Charlotte, I also raised to the top of that page two other posts regarding attractive older women. I also went to the pages of The Brady Bunch, Friends, Gimme a Break! and Will and Grace and raised threads about the older babes on those sereis. At this stage in the game, the chick who played Jamie is well into her forties and the ones who played Fran and Lisa and pushing fifty! However, there is one babe who was already up there in years when the show was on who had a way of making me salavate! This lady was Cynthia Harris who played Paul's mother Sylvia. In my opinion, the site of her in designer jeans is pretty hard to beat!
