DOROTHY ZBORNAK-HOLLINGSWORTH-80 beloved wife, daughter, and friend passed away early Saturday after a brief illness at her home in Dunwoody, GA surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Lucas Hollingsworth, son Michael Zbornak and daughter Kate Margolin. She is also survived by five grandchildren and "adopted family" Rose Nylund-Dunn of Orlando, FL and Blanche Devereaux of Miami, FL. Born as Dorothy Petrillo in Brooklyn, New York in 1929 to Italian immigrants Sophia and Salvador Petrillo, she was nicknamed "Pussycat." Prior to moving to Atlanta she was a longtime Miami resident and shared a home with Ms. Devereaux and Ms. Nylund-Dunn. She had wonderful and fond memories of those times and loved to share the stories with her grandchildren and close friends. While residing in Miami she worked as a high school substitute teacher and taught History and English as well as an adult education class to prepare for the High School Equivalency Exam. Upon her move to Atlanta she opened her home as a foster for abused dogs even though she had once proclaimed she hated them. She was also active with volunteering at the local humane society and several animal shelters and was an outspoken supporter of PETA. Viewing to be held at Dressler's Funeral Home on Dunwoody Road on Monday, April 27 between 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral services pending.

I didn't expect to get so sad reading that!! It is hard to imagine Dorothy's life being over. I also can't believe it has been 17 years since the show ended on NBC.

Nice Obit. I have question though. Why is it Rose Nylund-Dunn and she lives in Orlando??? I don't recall Rose getting married again. Was that on The Golden Palace??? Just wondering. Thanks
