It can be a person, a tv show, a movie, something that happens in daily life, or all of the above. What makes TJL laugh?? My friends make me laugh to no end. When we get together it's always a good time. My roommate is also someone who makes me laugh. We have very similar tastes when it comes to humor. As far as TV shows, The Office and 30 Rock make me laugh out lout constantly. Also Family Guy and Venture Brothers, one of the funniest and most underrated animated programs to come along in the lasa few years. TJL 04-26-2009, 08:49 PM What is your favorite one hour drama show? I don't watch many one hour dramas anymore, the most recent "drama" I really loved was Battlestar Galactica. I have also been a longtime fan of Smallville. I guess you can call these shows dramas. TJL 04-26-2009, 08:53 PM What are your favorite music generes?? Do you like TV shows that were made before 1970??? Rock and Roll baby. Classic or new. Keep the club music to yourself thank you very much. I don't watch many pre 70's shows anymore. When I was a kid I loved reruns of Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Munsters, Addams Family, I love Lucy, and others that were on the local channels. I do catch a few eps of Hogan's Heroes from time to time. TVLand shows that a lot. Is it TVLand? Not sure. TJL 04-26-2009, 08:57 PM What's your favorite color? What is one of your pet peeves? Favorite color? Off black. Pet Peeve? People who dawdle in front of you and don't realize that you are simply trying to get around them because they are in thier own little freaking world. MickeyMac 04-27-2009, 12:20 PM What do you like on your pizza? What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?? Who would you pick The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?? Do you like the Beach Boys?? Do you like Otis Redding??? PlayOn 04-27-2009, 03:56 PM Why haven't you tried out for America's Got Talent? If you could sing, who would you sing with? Why do you keep on calling me? Seriously, it's getting annoying. TJL 04-27-2009, 04:32 PM What is your favorite Star Trek episode and film? The episode can be among any of the five shows. :) Which was your least favorite of the films? What is your favorite of the six Star Wars films? What was your least favorite? What do you think of George Lucas being too...uh, cheap, to play David Prowse for his work in Return of the Jedi? Do you have a favorite novel for either Star Trek or Star Wars? My all time favorite Star Trek episode is "Inner Light" from the Next Geneeration series. Such a beautiful and touching episode. It really showcased why TNG was so damn good. Personally, I don't think any of the Star Trek films are bad. SOme are weaker than others, but none of them was outright terrible. Okay, Star Trek V was a little dumb. But Kirk's "I need my pain" speech near the end is so great! My Favorite Star Wars film is Episode IV A New Hope. I love that movie. My least favorite Star Wars film? Hmmm. I watched the Spike TV marathon a couple of weekends ago, and I found myself fading during Return Of The Jedi. I love the movie, but it's not as exciting as the previous installments. Lucas didn't pay David Prowse? I never heard that. I do know that stuntman Bob Anderson did a lot of work on that film in the Vader costume, but I never heard that Prowse wasn't paid for his portrayal. I haven't read many Star Trek books. The few I read were written by Shatner. Of the Star Wars book I have read, Tim Zahn's trilogy of books Heir To The Empire, Dark Force Rising and Last Command were good. I liked the old Han Solo books. TJL 04-27-2009, 04:48 PM what's so great about Liechtenstein? Castle Liechtenstein, home of Baron Frederich Liechtenstein who stitched together parts of old teddy bears, thus creating the first Bulid A Bear franchise. what two animals (real or mythical) would you have fighting to the death on your personal crest/coat of arms? Yoda with adamantium claws fighting Darth Maul after he's turned into a Borg. How freaking cool would that be? can you share with us your green bean casserole recipe? No. would you ever consider changing your legal name to Marvin Schmidtlapp, even for for a ridiculously exhorbitant sum of money or number of Tootsie Rolls? No, then my Sitcoms Online username would be M.S. what's your favorite brand of non-dairy creamer? Penzoil what is your favorite thing to throw processed lunch meats at, and do you have any other unconventional activities you enjoy which involve them? I only throw lunchmeat at my own mouth. While it's still in the package. have you ever taken lessons to play the pan flute? Yes. TJL 04-27-2009, 04:53 PM What do you like on your pizza? A live chicken. If that's not available, mushrooms and or sausage. A pizza with everyting on it is good too. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?? Ben and Jerry's Phish Food. Or the one with cookie dough and chocolate fudge mixed in. Who would you pick The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?? Depends on the sauce. Stole that joke from Hawkeye. ;) Do you like the Beach Boys?? Not particularly. Do you like Otis Redding?? He's okay. TJL 04-27-2009, 06:05 PM How did you discover SO? The local news channel New York 1 was doing a story about TV websites and Sitcoms Online was mentioned. I checked out the site later that day and joined up. Who makes you laugh the most here at SO? Everyone is very funny here. I don't like to single people out, because I will forget someone's name. I'm also bad a spelling usernames. If you could punch any celeb in the face without it resulting in charges against you, who would it be and why? Right now, Perez Hilton. Dude shut the **** up. Miss California answered your pointed question. It just so happens it's not the answer you wanted to hear. Stop picking on her. Remember you're on the **** list of lots of powerful people in Hollywood who aren't going to back you up on your slandering of this girl. What's your favorite thing about NYC? The bars. No that's too easy. My favorite thing about NYC is that it can take a person who hates crowds be happy in one of the most crowded places on earth. No. On second thought, it's the bars. ;) Nighthawk76 04-27-2009, 06:32 PM My all time favorite Star Trek episode is "Inner Light" from the Next Geneeration series. Such a beautiful and touching episode. It really showcased why TNG was so damn good. Personally, I don't think any of the Star Trek films are bad. The few I read were written by Shatner. Of the Star Wars book I have read, Tim Zahn's trilogy of books Heir To The Empire, Dark Force Rising and Last Command were good. I liked the old Han Solo books. "The Inner Light" is a great episode. Patrick Stewart gives one of his best performances, which says a lot, since he always gave a great performance. I love the scene where Picard and the other vlllagers are watching the launch of the space probe that he'll eventually encounter in the future. Star Trek 5 is probably my least favorite as well. That or Generations. I do like Kirk's "I need my pain" speech because it true that our pain and mistakes make us who we are today. I would rank Return of the Jedi somewhere in the middle. It's not my favorite, but it is not my least favorite either. I think the scenes between Luke, Vader and the Emperor are cool as are the space battles (though I think Han should have been the one to lead the attack on the Death Star, not Lando), but some of the scenes on Endor drag. I read somewhere that David Prowse hasn't received his royalties from the film yet. It's not that he wasn't paid, it just that he hasn't been given his royalties yet. Which I'm sure amounts to quite a bit of money. This might sound strange, but even though I have read most of the Star Trek novels, I haven't read many of Shatner's. The one I did read was The Ashes of Eden. I think that may have been his first. I've also read two of his Tekwar novels. I've only read about half of the Star Wars novels, but I did read Zahn's trilogy. I also read one of the Han Solo novels back during the summer of 1997. It was Han Solo at Star's End.:) Chocoholic 04-27-2009, 06:40 PM What show do you like better, Cheers or Wings? What MASH character are you? (Wait, I think I already know my answer...) What's your favorite ice cream flavor? TJL 04-27-2009, 06:59 PM What show do you like better, Cheers or Wings? What MASH character are you? (Wait, I think I already know my answer...) What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Cheers. Great show. Wings was good too. Hawkeye is my character. A close second? That's easy. Igor! I said before Phish Food was good, but i had some chocolate ice cream at a great italian restaurant in New Jersey yesterday that was fantastic. I eat too much ice cream. TJL 04-27-2009, 07:06 PM I've only read about half of the Star Wars novels, but I did read Zahn's trilogy. I also read one of the Han Solo novels back during the summer of 1997. It was Han Solo at Star's End.:) Han Solo At Star's End and Han Solo's revenge are good books. I really want to read more of the Star Wars novels, but there are so many of them now I don't know where to start. Have you ever read Splinter In The Mind's Eye? I remember reading that when i was a kid. It was so exciting to read another adventure with Luke and Leia. Nighthawk76 04-27-2009, 09:42 PM Han Solo At Star's End and Han Solo's revenge are good books.
