I beg to differ. I don't think L&S was ruined when it moved locations. It certainly wasn't as good as the Milwaukee episodes, but it wasn't ruined. The first season of CA episodes was great, and many of the episodes after that were, too. After Shirley left, they were okay. In Penny Marshall's bio it said that the first half of the season without Cindy Williams got some of the highest ratings since the second season, or something like that.

"Well, Laverne is sort of childish" -Shirley

"Childish? Childish? Coming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!" -Laverne

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!" -Shirley

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!" -Laverne

I dunno if this counts either but I don't think "Caroline in the City" was as good after Caroline and Richard stopped working from the apartment and moved into that office.

mosoop, i agree with you on that. another one that i am not sure of.. when Judd Nelson left Suddenly Susan and they moved from the fancy office to that horrible building.. with that new boss.. and also when Fired up moved from Thursday nights to Mondays.
