What episode was where we first found out Radar's name was Walter?

Was it "Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler?" where we first find out his name was Walter or was it before that? --- the 4th Season episode where Captain Chandler thinks he is Jesus

I'm going through my DVDs after not having watched them in a while. I'm up to this episode and don't recall any mention of Radar's first name.

Weirdest Klinger moment so far -- "Dear Dad" when he wants to take in a "Grenade" to "blow up" Major Burns. So unlike Klinger (he's not even in a dress!!).

I'm 99% sure you're right. "Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler?" was the first time we found out Radar's real name.

Yes, it was "Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler?" Gary Burghoff had a meeting with the producers and asked them to give Radar a first name, and they gave him one in this episode :)

When Charles makes his first appearance at the 4077th, Radar tells him his name is corp. Walter Eugene O' Riley, company clerk. Who came up with the middle name as he didn't use it in "Quo Vadis". :confused:
