The first thing that I would like to do is welcome you to the board! You will have a lot of fun starting your own threads and responding to those of other people! Also, those of you who are interested in potential alternate endings of shows might want to go to the page of the "Facts of Life". Close to the top of the page, there is a thread started by me that is called "Unpopular". In between the time that I started this thread and the present, a lot of people have posted various responses. I have since posted follow-up responses. In my most recent response, I mentioned a possible alternate ending to an episode in the second season. Please tell me what you think of it!

It was brilliant of the producers to film two different endings to throw everyone off to prevent leaks.

The ending to I Do, Adieu is perfect, but this would have been the perfect way for Sam & Diane to marry if it had happened. Really good to see it.
