OH Nuts!

For me there are many reasons: I love the character of Kingsfield. Part curmudgeon, part slavemaster and YET altruistic and in the final analysis deeply devoted to his students and the law. In the end, he always comes through for them and shows that beneath that crusty and somethings barking exterior, he is a truly compassionate man. And he's a smart old bird to boot; some good examples can be seen in The Scavenger Hunt and The Apprentice eps.
And then there are the law students: just adorable (I'm showing my age here - when you're in your mid 50s the 20s seems very young) and likeable every last one - esp. Hart - who you just know is going to be a to-die-for lawyer. Even Kingsfield prophecies Hart will be a superb lawyer in one ep.
And of couse there's something moving about seeing a set of people so dedicated and hard working. In particular, the show has special meaning for me since I work with public interest lawyers - many of them young, just passed the bar - you couldn't find a set of finer people.
I could probably go on... but this is enuf for starters...!
