After leading his team to an NBA leading & franchise record 66 wins this year, the NBA as announced Brown has won the award today...

I think the 76ers Tony DiLeo or the Hawks coach could of gotten this as well...but congrats to Mike B

My vote would have gone to the coach of the Clippers. ;)

A few coaches were worthy of the award(Mike included). My personal vote was for Nate McMillan.

I think Dileo should have gotten it too because that team looked like they would not even SNIFF the playoffs when he first took over and not only have they made the playoffs but they are going to the 2nd round. It's too easy to give to a coach whose team had the best record and Lebron James

Hey, the Indians won 100 out of 144 games in 1995 and had Albert Belle, Kenny Lofton, Manny Ramirez and who won AL Manager that year?? Lou Piniella - who was with the Mariners.

That's how it should be, too easy to give it to the guy with the most wins-lol

Well, I still felt bad for Mike Hargrove. :(

Yeah I agree. Yet the Cavs won the most wins ever in their franchise this year, so maybe he does deserve it in a milestone sense. If they 60 some wins, but it wasn't the most ever by a Cavalier coach/team, then I wouldn't say he deserved to get it, despite a fabulous year regardless...

That guy's goofy though lol. Leaving the Mariners two years ago, for no reason when they had a great team and record

I also think the Coach of the year should be a coach who brought his team back from a bad start into the playoffs, or a rookie coach that does well in general, or does well with a dismal team...or had the best team, with a franchise high in wins like Mike Brown did...so for that he deserves it.

I think he was quoted at the time as "losing his desire" for the game. I still quite haven't figured that out.

I'm happy for Mike (and the ONLY reason he won so many games this year was because he's got King James), but my vote would have gone to Vinny Del Negro. First time the Bulls have been in the playoffs in a looooong time!
