View Full Version : What Cases Do you Follow?
Thor2000 04-17-2009, 11:53 AM These are my top ten remembered cases:
Tara Colico
Jay Durham
Angela Hammond
Leah Roberts
Tami Leppert
Michael Scott Martin
Don Kemp
Dorothy and Bill Wacker
The Circleville Writer
Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman
There are others I remain interested in, but these are the ones I think rate highest.
MegtheEgg86 04-17-2009, 12:13 PM I look out for any available info on UM cases that comes along, but these are the ones I've researched the most and continue to follow closely (as more information becomes available):
1. Kevin Ives/Don Henry
2. Connecticut River Valley Killer (probably because it scared me so much)
3. Blair Adams
4. Oberholtzer/Schnee
5. Son of Sam
6. Rhonda Hinson
I also followed the ATV murders and Kevin Hughes shooting before they were solved (close to home stories, you know). I'm practically a walking encyclopedia on the Hughes case.
shanejm 04-18-2009, 01:59 AM Bible/Freeman
Dave Bocks
Sherry Eyerly- Someone confessed
Dorothy Allison- until she passed away.
Laurie/Lorraine Zimmerman
Bryan Nisenfeld
and
Mary Norris/Mary Norris
browneyes106 04-18-2009, 09:36 PM I follow a lot of the missing person's cases. I also some of the murders like Jodi Bordeaux and the D.B. Cooper case.
MissFit29 04-19-2009, 09:49 AM Right now I'm following the Baskin case because it's been in the news, and I want to see how it plays out.
Otherwise, I like to keep tabs on just about all the cases.
I am curious why Nyleen Kay Marshall is not on the new UM site, however. Is it just an oversight on their part?

They don't have a lot of their tv cases on the site. Even some of the popular ones.
I don't know why they don't have those cases, unless they just want to save money by not having to pay someone to keep up the site or maybe they pay for the smallest amount of site space and don't want to pay to maintain a bigger site.
Thor2000 04-22-2009, 11:07 AM Thanks for the replies so far. I'll use the list to guide more case favorites to the UM Wikia page. If anyone else has case suggestions I've not posted there yet, you know how to contact me.

Don't say "they" because right now it's only me and one "phantom adder" adding cases. Right now, I'm working from a list printed from these pages and the notebook I'm kept back when the series was on Lifetime. I wll take requests for cases though to add as I can. Barring identifying episodes and research to expand my brief info, each case varies on just how well I can write it. The series covered over a thousand cases and I've only covered 375 so far.

I had the impression that she was talking about www.unsolved.com and not about your wikia site. The unsolved site doesn't have Nyleen's case on it.
Thor2000 04-23-2009, 09:54 AM well, it was either one or the other; I'm not up on what cases are on unsolved.com. I only check it every once in a while.

I was referring to the unsolved.com site. That one stood out for me as a glaring omission. There are probably other ones that are missing - plus, the "Solved" section is minute.
I think you have been doing some great work with the Wikia site. That's quite a task to undertake.
