1)Cleveland vs 8)Detroit- Cleveland in 5. Minimal difficulty for Cleveland. Detroit is still quite the defensive team and they'll probably take a game in Detroit.

2)Boston vs 7)Chicago- Boston in 4. Chicago is not the defensive-minded team like Detroit. Boston will have their way with them.

3)Orlando vs 6)Philadelphia- Orlando in 6. Philadelphia can give them some problems, but Dwight Howard will be too much.

4)Atlanta vs 5)Miami- Miami in 6. Dwyane Wade is on fire right now and I don't see Atlanta winning this series.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
West
1)Los Angeles vs 8)Utah- Los Angeles in 5. Utah will probably win a game in Utah, but this should be an easy win for Los Angeles.

2)Denver vs 7)New Orleans- Denver in 7. I see this going the distance. New Orleans has the potential to upset Denver if their defense is at its best. I see Denver winning in the end.

3)San Antonio vs 6)Dallas- San Antonio in 6. Manu Ginobili's absence will hurt, but not this early.

4)Portland vs 5)Houston- Houston in 7. Funny thing is Houston probably will make it to the second round without McGrady. I don't think Portland has the experience at this point.

Cleveland Cavaliers are 39-2 at Home.

Whoever plays Cleveland may have to watch out in Cleveland.

Boston will be tough to beat now because everyone is doubting them since they won't have KG

They know how to win without him, but they really need him in the middle.

Cleveland vs Detroit - Cleveland in 4. Cleveland is just on another level right now, and I can't see Detroit winning a game. Not even at home.

Boston vs Chicago - Boston in 6. Even though they got off to a rough start, they're still a far better team than Chicago, even without KG. Also, they have the clear experience advantage.

Orlando vs Philadelphia - Orlando in 7. I think this'll be one of the most entertaining series. I thnk Philly is underrated, but I think Howard will take control in game 7, leading them to the second round.

Atlanta vs Miami - Atlanta in 7. As great as Wade is, I think Atlanta has the better overall team. I don't think Wade's great play will be quite enough.

LA vs Utah - LA in 5. I think they're too big, and physical for Utah. Utah is a great home team, so I do see them winning one there, but LA, like the Cav's are just on another level right now, and are on a mission.

Denver vs New Orleans - Denver in 6. I think it'll be the Billups and Anthony show for the most part. I think NO will win a couple at home, but not in Denver.

San Antonio vs Dallas - SA IN 5. I just think they're a better overall team, and believe their defense will be too much for Dallas.

Portland vs Houston - Portland in 7. Alot of this is just me going with my heart, since I'm from Portland, but they were hot going into the playoffs, winning something like 9 of their last 10 games, so I think that'll carry on through the playoffs. Our toughest challenge will be winning one in Houston, since we haven't done that in awhile, but I think we're due for a win their. We've been awesome at home this year, so I think the home court advantage will end up being our biggest ally, and will give us the series.

Nah but the refs in basketball are WAY WAY better then the ones in the NHL. It's ridiculous.

I'm talking about when the players are face to face about to get it on and the refs start RUNNING over like one of them just pulled out a gun-lol

Why don't they just walk over?

Because most of the NBA players are thugs

Ex. Rasheed Wallace, Iverson...they're crazy, they don't have to be that big, but they're tough exterior...refs have to be aware at all times or else these idiots would choke the hell out of each other, and start punching..

Well Bird, and Dr. J, and Hakeem, and Kareem all was in a fight before so David Stern can't act like it's a BAD THING because of what one player did 5 years ago. In a playoff series things get heated, that's LIFE

yeah but they played the game and anybody that got in their way of winning and succeeding, it caused little rifts here and their...now it's just fighting to look cool, to act tough & to portray the street image...the game isn't the same at all in that perspective is what I'm basically saying. and the artest fight, was with fans, players etc. in the regular season. that's bad, so the playoffs when the intensity is even higher and the stakes are higher, fights could potentially be worst. so I agree with you their.

he's getting cocky and cockier lol...people, once they get the big bucks, turn into a$$holes..pardon my french...yeah he fouled out too I believe, or had 5 fouls and was benched the remaining of the game tonight. Sixers took the 3 point shot away from the magic and shot better, I understand why they couldn't of played better tonight & won- especially with Howard playing ok and on the bench the rest of the game. This is why they're a .500 team and won't make it out of the first round- despite the 2 andres playing fairly well tonight.

I bet almost every person in Philly would havr expected to be up 2-0 i Dwight was held to 11 pts

Matt geiger was in a fight with the dark skin from Orlando I can't remeber his name-lol Oh yeah Darrul Armstrong-lol And the 76ers won the series because ibn those days it was only a 3 out o 5 in the first round

i've only been to 1 nba game ever. ironically, it was a magics-sixers game at the first union center- it was around the time we're talking about. it was either 1997 or 1999. a friend of my moms at the time worked for Comcast Spectacor, so we would always get tickets for games, and my mom would for concerts etc. so it was pretty cool.

I think I'm the only one who picked Dallas to beat SA lol....SA is old, and don't have Ginobili....although I love their team, and they have a good bench, they're not even close to winning it and they have a good young core but an inexperienced bench and even though duncan is a veteran and is great, he is getting old.....

I said Dallas in 7 cause I thought/think SA will or would give them a fight, but the series could end before that.
