I know of a few other people here at SO who are big fans of Martina McBride, and I was wondering what you all think of her latest album, Shine? I think that it is the best album that she has ever done. I love it even more than Waking Up Laughing. There isn't a bad song on the entire album. Some of my favorite songs include "Ride", "I'm Trying", "Lies" and "What Do I Have To Do". Just like Waking Up Laughing, Shine is filled with songs that make me feel really good about myself and life in general. And that's what the very best music is supposed to do.

I just bought Shine a few days ago and I agree it has a feel good vibe and I really like that.

Anyone who is a Martina fan and hasn't picked up their copy of Shine yet, you should go out and do so. Not only will you be getting some really great music, but also Martina really needs her fans right now. Shine's sales are very poor. After being out only a month and a half, the album has just about fallen off the charts and has sold a mere 100,000 copies. Even if you don't consider yourself a Martina fan, if you like great music, you will love Shine. The album will made you feel good. :)
