I like about all of the Easter dishes. My favorite is the ham.

None in particular, except maybe ham, and some kind of Easter bread.

When growing up, we'd ususally have something Italian, like some kind of pasta--either lasagna, ravioli or manicotti--and as another course, some sort of roast, beef or pork roast--or a ham. Nothing else I can remember as a main dish.

The adults would have wine or beer with it, and a variety of deserts after--either cakes, pies, ice cream and top everything off with coffee.

Sort of a combination of Italian and American fare.

I voted Ham, Potato salad and Other ! (Other as in mashed potatoes) . I always make a ham (pineapple /brown sugar/cloves garnish) and the main side dish is either mashed potatoes or potato salad ! Than I have peas, green salad and either baked glazed carrots or sweet potatoes and dinner rolls !

This year I'm doing the ham, mashed potato , baked glazed carrots, peas combo !:happyface

I voted for ham, even though we don’t have it anymore.

Please give me a front seat on the carb train: candied tams and potato salad. But to balance it off a bit, the deviled eggs. I NEVER EAT PORK ( not for religious reasons, just think pigs are sweet adorable and highly intelligent animals. Don’t eat red meat at all)

Simnel cake is traditional in my country, though not good news for the waistline.

LOL Most people ask the same question when I tell them I’m fixing fried carrots. It’s something my Granny always did and I’ve continued the tradition.

All you do is use can carrots and mix them up in a little cornmeal, a tad of flour, and a little honey. Then fry them in a bit of oil or you can also bake them. Yes, you’ve done it correctly if the carrots are all mushed up; they should still have some consistency but not completely.
