Betty and Rue seem the closest. They are both very much into animals and animal causes.

^I remember reading a lot that Betty and Rue were really close. I think it has been mentioned on a few shows and articles that Bea got along with the other actresses well but they didn't have a close friendship.

Apparently, White discusses this in one of the books she wrote (I think it is the one from the mid 90s). I had another thread asking about this below, but no one answered...so I'm not sure if it's true or not (that she did address this).
