First Sydney, now Dr. Michael Mancini: The CW's new Melrose Place has yet another familiar face joining the cast.

Thomas Calabro will be reprising his role as Dr. Mancini, the good guy-turned-cheater, a source tells PEOPLE.

Calabro, who appeared every season in the original Melrose, will be the father to David Patterson, played by Shaun Sipos. No other details were revealed.

How old will the son be? Both Jane and Taylor had babies from Michael. Jane's child should be nine years old and Taylor's should be turning 11 by the end of the summer. I wonder if one of the two kids was aged or if there was another baby mama out there that we did not know about.

Yay! The originals are slowly coming back! In addition to Sydney & Michael being on there, Jo will be in an least 2 episodes:

If it were up to me, I'd want MP to continue where they left off w/ ALL the original characters ever since Peter & Amanda faked their deaths & got married on that deserted island in the series finale. :)
