Did anyone else here see the Ryan O'Neal flick The Thief Who Came to Dinner (1973)? Gregory has a small role as a none too bright boxer. There is a scene where the two men box - and needless to say it was my favorite part of the movie!! :eyes: :D

Thank you, Rich - I even made a copy of the Barney pic and hung it up on my cubicle wall. :cool: I also made 2 copies of the note - one I put up on my cube wall and the second I put in my wallet. Those words of encouragement are just so wonderful - I like to have them with me at all times, I guess. :D

Thanks Deb, but the non-personalized pic of Ron Glass from his Barney days is Tara's (Hollywood Rock Chic), not mine. I do also have an index card autographed by Barbara Barrie (Elizabeth Miller) and an autographed pic of Jack Riley (better known as Mr. Carlin on the Bob Newhart Show), who guested on BM a few times. I'll have to get those scanned off to you soon. The site looks great, by the way!! BM has some new fans - I turned some co-workers onto it, and we're all in our 20s. Thank goodness the show is now picking up steam on DVD and more eps are available online!! :D

I know you have the TV Guide covers up from back in the day - do you have the articles that went with them? I'd SO love to read those vintage articles!! :D

In the 1980's, I had a big crush on Martha Quinn from MTV. I wrote to her and received back a thank you note along with a picture. And in the early 70's when I was in grade school, I decided to write a letter to President Nixon. This was before the Watergate scandal broke. After about a month or so, I received an envelope from The White House which contained a thank you note from Mr. Nixon on official White House stationery. The note has Mr. Nixon's signature, but unfortunately the signature is a stamped facsimilie. Along with the note, a booklet with pictures of Mr. Nixon and his family was also included. So that was pretty cool.

All I did was write him at the address above and sent a large self addressed stamped envelope along with my letter. I asked for an autographed photo - had no idea he'd be sending me three - but it sure made my day!!!!!! :D
