I wish The Good Guys and Its About Time could be released on dvd. Gilligan's Island/Bob Denver fans would love Good Guys and Gilligan fans would love Sherwood Schwartz 1966-67 series Its About Time, same type of humor! Maybe someday...................!

do the masters for The Good Guys even exist anymore?

I have no idea if forgotten 1 season tv series from the '60's have original masters. I was just thinking it would be cool for some of the shows like The Good Guys, Its About Time and My Mother The Car, (which haven't been seen in years and are mostly famous for being shelved and forgotten) could be brought back in dvd form. Smore Entertainment released Good Morning, World from 1966-67, featuring Goldie Hawn. I never even heard of it before.

Good Guys was a two season show :)

I remember Good Morning, World from when USA ran the reruns in the '80s.

I have about 10 episodes of the show and only one is in color. As far as I know that is all that exists. Lenorard Stern who produced the Good Guys is still alive and is trying to get one of his earlier shows on DVD, I'm Dickens He's Fenster, so he is our best bet. He was on the GI True Hollywood Story talking about the Good Guys. Maybe he has the masters.

All 30 eps of My Mother the Car are on www.hulu.com now, so there's hope for that series getting to DVD possibly in the future. The eps that I've seen there look good too, w/ good color & sound.
