Haley Joel Osment - lol: I automatically thought of the cast of Diff'rent Strokes, Mackenzie Phillips and Adam Rich. Maybe even Brian Bonsall. I don't think it's fair to add Ashley Olsen because she "has appeared in celebrity rags bleary-eyed from wild nights out."

LOL Mary-Kate and Ashley are hardly self-destructive. This list is a mess.

Haley Joel definately doesn't deserve to be on there. Nowhere near as much as Danny Bonaduce, Jonathan Brandis (SeaQuest, Neverending Story 2), Glenn Quinn (Roseanne), and Bobby Driscoll (Disney's Peter Pan).

At least 80% of that list is still alive, which is more than we can say for Brandis, Quinn, and Driscoll.

I expected River Phoenix to be on the list. He was a good guy.

I agree Haley Joel shouldn't be on the list. His drug arrest and car accident was a few years ago and he hasn't had any other arrests or known drug problems.

That's Trent Lehman who played Butch on the show. You're right, his is a very sad story.

I can see River Phoenix being on this list, but not as #1. He was respected during his lifetime and known for his professionalism on set. He wasn't one of those actors that went from screwup to screwup. The general public didn't know he used drugs until after his death. His death was really shocking.
