New York AP Nielsen Media Research say's that 16.4 Million People watched The 2 Hour Finale of ER. that the most watched Swan Song for Televison Drama Since Murder She Wrote in 1996.


The Groundbreaking Medican Drama called it quicts after 15 year's on NBC it ended on a Hopeful Note with The Daughter of Dr. Mark Green eager to Practice Medicine where her Father did.



The Audience Thursday Night was nearly double what it has been for the final season yet still half what it was when ER and NBC Thursday Night Line up ruled Televison.

I'd say it went out with a bang. 16.2 million viewers and a 6.0 demo is great after 15 years of top-notch quality. It's sad to see ER finally end, it really is.

Now the question is, can Southland take over for the show that's been in the slot since 1994?

They are Re-broadcast the series Finale on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm CT Time

I didn't see the first hour cuz I am also a big CSI fan LOL! Did they ever explain what caused the estrangement between Dr. Carter and his wife? Was it only the death of their son, or something else in addition to that? Or maybe that was explained in an episode a long time ago before Noah Wyle left and I missed it (or have forgotten, I wouldn't be surprised)....

I was also confused by the intern who went to check on the twins' mother in surgery and was told she was dead. Who was she? I thought at first she was Dr. Green's daughter, but obviously I was wrong.
