I thought some of the members (or visitors) of this forum would be interested in seeing Ozzie and Harriet's house at 1822 Camino Palmero Street in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles as it looks today.

I would love to see the inside floor plan. It seems like a nice comfortable lay out inside. Janine the Dream 04-03-2009, 09:34 AM Very nice pictures! I was looking for Thorny or Joe to show up. LOL. The Nelsons' other famous (although less famous) house, their beach home in Laguna Beach, was bought and torn down about ten years ago. Here's a link to a long but interesting Los Angeles Times article about it featuring interviews with David and one of Rick's twins. http://articles.latimes.com/1998/jul/24/news/ls-6580 Goldilocks 04-06-2009, 01:30 PM What a great article, Matt. Thanks for posting! This part is so touching it made me cry: "The thing we discussed, really, was death, coming to terms with Dad being gone," Matthew recalled. "I think I asked something like, 'Grandma, what do you think? Are you afraid to go?' She looked at me, and it was weird; it was almost as if she were channeling. In a very calm voice, she said, 'I'm absolutely, 100% sure I'm going to be with your grandfather and your dad. I know I'm going to someplace better, and I know I'll see you there when it's your time.' |
