My Aunt called yesterday and told me I better unplug my computer because of the virus. The way she sounded , it was like this was going to be the Y2K of the computer world. I haven't noticed anything different so far. lol

I am having trouble with one site-"youtube" but not other site

I think YouTube played an April Fool's prank... when I clicked on one of the videos to watch, the whole screen was Upside Down!!! :eek:

I was on YouTube just a while ago and it was fine. I do have a friend that can't get sound on it, but that happened long before today.



Seriously though, I just went to the Microsoft site on Monday, snared any new patches and/or updates, ran my Adware and I've been fine. I hope! :lol:

the ones in the "recommended for you" section are all appearing upside down for me.

if people just learned to do their Windows Updates regularily (manually not auto-update, so you can see that it is actually working), updated their Antivirus regularily and used even a moderate amount of common sense, things like this would never be a problem.

My mom called me today and warned me about it-LOL. Is it even a legit thing? Some people, especially the local news stations, are really treating it like the next Y2K though, aren't they? And remember how people got all caught up in that? They thought the world was going to end :lol:

oh it is definitely the real thing, but its not as widespread as they make it out to be. panic rarely does anyone any good - make sure you do your updates, and if you are infected take the steps to remove it.

there are tons of viruses and trojans out there in the wild all the time, a lot of them without people even being aware that they are infected.

Yah, they were all rightside up when I viewed them in the afternoon ('course, April Fool's is only supposed to be in the morning).

Although, I followed the link in a post from FSU just before posting this and it was a Rick Ashley dubbed video still running! rofl
