They want him as an executive though. He was responsible (in part) to the New York Knicks being salary capped strapped.

Not to mention the total and complete mess he made of the Toronto Raptors when he was there. I think they still haven't recovered!!

Isiah Thomas proved in the past that he sucked as a GM, and he is even a worse coach. The Clippers I guess are desperate. Because of his name, he will probably always have a job in the NBA. He'd probably be better as a TV studio person.

It's not like he can do any worse than Elgin Baylor. Personally, I wouldn't give Zeke a second look. He fills a team with overpriced superstars that can't play together.

i like the clippers because i sang the national anthem with my high school honor choir at one of their games. that is all, i hate sports so i will now depart from this board unless another thread title of interest appears on the chit chat sub-forums menu.

I wish that the Clippers relocate somewhere...or fold or merge with the Thunder.

Elgin Baylor tried to file a lawsuit against the Clippers because he thinks he was fired without a notice. He's part of the problem the Clippers have been losers for years LOL. They were good for 2 seasons back in the late 80's to early 90's when they had Danny Manning, Mark Jackson, Ken Norman, Ron Harper, Charles Smith LOL. Ron Harper one time commented that playing for the Clippers is like being in jail hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I know he was very upset when Cleveland traded him there and i will never forgive Wayne Embry for that trade because Ron used to be one of my favorite players and he was one of the Cavs best players at the time and Danny Ferry was what Cleveland got in return for Ron. Danny didn't do a damn thing when he played for Cleveland LOL. Now he's the Cavs general manager. Isn't that a trip? I will never understand why Baron Davis left Golden State to come to the Clippers. He took the Warriors to the playoffs a few times and he decides to go to a team that's never gonna win nothing? LOL. I feel bad for Zach Randolph also. I don't think he wanted to leave the Knicks and Marcus Camby should've stayed with Denver. I'm surprised Eric Gordon is doing really well for the Clippers. I never saw him play in college.
