Cameron Diaz and Hugh Jackman got slimed and at the end of the show the whole audience got slimmed.

I'm sorry, but the awards are a joke. Just look at all the nominees - they're all Disney stars, or Disney shows, or Disney songs. Not ALL of them, but most of them. Just remember the good old days of the KCA, when the nominees were network shows like Home Improvement, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, or even Roseanne back in the 90s. The awards themselves were just better.

But now, the awards seem like nothing more but to promote the stars and nominees on them. Seriously, Miley Cyrus as favorite female singer? She couldn't sing well to save her life.

well, for one thing they are voted by today's generation of kids- the high school musical, hanna montana, jonas brothers loving types. i don't care much for awards ceremonies because even those voted for by the fans are a joke anyway these days. i don't even take them seriously anymore when those who deserve to win get overlooked or ignored.

if you are a fan of the show, then so be it- you don't need award shows and awards to prove that your show or actor/ actress deserves to win because as a matter of fact they are all winners.

as for miley as best singer, well if kids think that she is the best female singer on the planet right now, well then i now worry for this generation indeed.

I read somewhere that Britney Spears got banned from this award show because one year she wore an outfit that was too revealing. Is this true or just a rumor.

I could be wrong but to my knowlege that is not true.

If the Kid's Choice Awards allowed Chris Brown to stay nominated (he pulled himself out); then a revealing outfit doesn't look to be a problem.
