According to my experiences, the people who grew up with shows like "Gimme a Break!" and the "Facts of Life" were the people who grew up to be the first generation of Yuppies. By the time that their days as Yuppies had begun, shows like "Mad About You" and "Caroline in the City" were going strong. Well, I would now like to bring up something that all four of these series have in common. In all four cases, it seems to be taking forever for them to come out on DVD! This is most frustrating! I already own all of the DVDs of all of these shows that have already been released. I would really like to own more! However, there is one way that the "Facts of Life" is very different than the other three. On that show's page of this stie, there is thread after thread by people who are angry about the fact that only three seasons have been released! However, it seems that, with the other three shows, the fans have given up. This is another thing that really frustrates me! I have posted messages on all of these pages asking the fans why they are not more active in this department. So far, I have zero responses! My most recent thread on this page regarding this topic is called "Have the Fans Given Up?". In between the time that I started this thread and the present moment, I have went on to post other threads on other pages. Late last night, I posted one on the "Mad About You" page. I was going to post one here telling you guys about it, but I got side-tracked responding to other threads about other topics. Shortly before I came here this morning, I checked the one on the "Mad About You" page. It had four views and zero responses.
