Even though "Caroline in the City" was not nearly as successful as this sereis, I would say that the people with whom it was popular with was the same Generation X crowd as those who frequented this show. Another thing that the two have in common is that it is taking years on end for them to come out on DVD! This is most frustrating! Less than half an hour ago, I have posted a message on that show's page and called it the "Facts of Life". This is because that is yet another show in which less than half of the sereis is out on DVD! However, there is one way in which that show is very different then either of the others. On that show's page, fans are posting message after message about how terrible it is that so few of the seasons have been released! They will not let the subject drop! It really puzzles me as to why the fans of these other show's are not doing the same. My last post on this page is called "Have you Guys Given Up?". I am not sure how many views it has but I know that it has zero responses. I would hate to think that this means that you have given up! Another sereis that I would say was very popular with Generation X is "Gimme a Break!". One piece of trivia that you guys might be interested in is that, before Kari Michaesson was cast as Katie Kinisky, Helen Hunt auditioned for the part. In any event, even before I posted my last thread on this page, I went to that show's page and started one called "Have the Fans Given Up?". Just like this one, that thread also has zero responses!
