Has anyone here been in an earthquake? What are your thoughts on earthquakes? They are expecting a big earthquake in southern California around 2010.

I've been through many earthquakes. I don't like 'em. :D

Seismologists can't really put an exact year for the next large quake. About all they can say is, "There will be a big quake somewhere in California in the future."

I'm in Ohio, but we've had a couple here that I remember. The biggest one was a 5.0 that struck on January 31, 1986. I still remember that day so well, even though I was only 6.
