One of the things I have always found hysterical about The Simpsons is Homer's endearing stupidity. Homer had a lot of these moments over the years.
What are some of your favorites?

Mine are:

Homer Goes To College - I loved the scene where Homer celebrates his acceptance into college. After declaring he doesn't need his GED anymore, he sets fire to the diploma hanging on the wall, chanting "I am so smart! I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T - I mean S-M-A-R-T" (meanwhile the wall behind him is on fire).

Secrets Of A Successful Marriage- Homer is living in a tree after Marge kicks him out. When Lisa goes to bring him some pudding, Homer introduces her to a plant made of Marge's likeness saying "I don't need your mother anymore. I have created a replacement that's superior to her in every way."

Marge On The Lam - When Marge tells Homer she has tickets to the ballet, we see what he thinks the ballet is (an elephant riding a tiny cart in circles)

Way too many to mention!

Flaming Homer/Moe

Working as a monorail conductor. "Donuts: Is there anything they can't do?"

Gaining weight to qualify for disability. "For once, Dad's butt actually prevented the release of toxic gas."

Accurately predicting what would become of the comet. "I know, kids. I'm scared too."

"You put the beer in the coconut and drink it all up. You put the beer in the coconut and throw the can away."

Any "Mmm!" moment.

I could go on. Homer really is my absolute favorite TV character. He's just so funny!
