I just wondered if there were any fans that thought Dorothy should have remarried Stan in the last episode instead of Lucas and that storyline?
I think they should have saved the two part episode "There Goes the Bride" which aired on February 2 and 9, 1991 to have been the series finale episode in May 1992 with Dorothy actually remarrying Stan.
Debbie Reynolds could have moved in as their new roomate and then also joined them on the Golden Palace instead of the two male characters that were in the cast. Had Golden Palace centered around four women like Golden Girls, it might have survived longer than one season.
I thought the final episode with Dorothy marrying Lucas was all kind of abrupt and silly. The end wasn't bad since it was the final episode, but I think it might have had more meaning if Dorothy and Stan had actually gotten back together since their relationship was featured throughout the series.
