I'm new here at SO. I'll only stay on a few conditions.

First that there are no oldtimers rambling on about how much Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Hogans Heros and all those other loser sitcoms before the Blossom era. Nothing galls me more than reading some dullard rambling endlessly about how Mary Tyler Moore aired the way it was meant to be aired or some nonsense like that.

Second thing is no one can reply to me with those stupid faces or other icons. I hate those things. If I wasn't politically correct, I'd say those things were gay. And while we're at it, how about if the folks monitoring these boards can filter out all stupid responses? I'm a pretty smart guy with an important job and I shouldn't have to deal with idiots.

Finally, no Homer Simpson imitators. The man is beyond pathetic. The last thing I need when I'm trying to have an intelligent Blossom discussion is for some halfwit to respond with "Dohhhh!!!" or "MMMMM, donuts". This tiresome hasbeen wore out his welcome 10 years ago and the idiots who admire this dope reflect poorly on intelligent sitcom fans everywhere.

I much smarter than most of the fans here, but I'll do my best not to talk down to you nice people. I assure everyone here that you'll all enjoy my insights into Blossom and tv shows in general. I'll start posting as soon as my three conditions are met.

If you're smarter than most of the members here, what is with the grammar and spelling errors? :D

I agree Sonny! And ANYONE who ever watched even 10 seconds of Blossom - especially when they're our age had to be a real idiot - probably a very low I.Q. and dumpster dives in between reruns. ;)

Oops - didn't put enough smilies....next time tho. :p :happyface

I love the way the producers of The Mary Tyler Moore show aired the episodes in such a perfect way. It allowed us to watch the relationships grow between the characters on the show. We saw the friendship grow between Mary and Rhoda. We saw Mary grow more and more comfortable working with Lou, Murry , and Ted. The producers were also great at introducing us to new characters as the show went along. Betty White as Sue Ann Nivens was a great example of this. She brought a fresh new energy to the show and provided a great thorn in the side for Lou which brought out the best in that character. Another good example is Georgia Engel as Ted's girlfriend (and later wife) Georgette. She also brought a breath of fresh air to the show and served to add more dimension to the Ted Baxter character. Yes the producers of The Mary Tyler Moore Show did a great job of laying out this series and unfolding it in the perfect way to maintain our interest and keep us coming back for more. (or was that Moore?) One of the ways we know what an excellent job the producers of The Mary Tyler Moore Show did is that no fewer than three of the characters from this series were spun off on to their own shows. Rhoda Morgenstern, Phyllis Lindstrom, and Lou Grant were each spun off. Rhoda and Phyllis during the run of The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Lou Grant after The Mary Tyler Moore Show had run its course. The fact that all these characters spun off from The Mary Tyler Moore Show is a big pat on the back for the producers of The Mary Tyler Moore Show. :) :D ;) :p :talk:

First I would like to say that Happy Days, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Laverne and Shirley did it right. God, what an awful show Blossom was. Those shows from the 90's just simply can't compare to the older sitcoms of the 70's. Anyone who likes Blossom must be a total dork.

:) :( :o :D   :p ;) :happyface

D'oh, I love donuts and beer. D'oh. Duff's <3.

Welcome to the boards. Since you're so much smarter than me, I expect a 15 page essay which outlines the evolution of cosmic inflation. You can't use wikipedia. I'll know because I'll google it. You get two days to complete that.

P.S. I think you're a random dude who was bored and is full of crap. Although I don't take you seriously as a human being, I would like to thank you with the entertainment you've provided me with your post. Good day.

Yeah that is why they have sections on SO for you to talk about Happy Days and L&S and all the shows that we love. I have never even seen Blossom. I do like 90's shows like Wings, Frasier, Friends, Family Matters, Step by Step...

It's just very rude to say all that. That you will post under those conditions.
Not everyone is going to like the same show that you do.

So I don't know if I really welcome you now even though I said it before.
