The second annual Television Academy Honors will celebrate eight programs from 2008 that demonstrate “television with a conscience” on April 30 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The eight programs had a significant impact on viewers regarding issues such as racial integration, adoption, gun control, sexual orientation, cancer, endangered species, the environment, faith and tolerance.
