I know this same thread has been done in the past but I thought I'd start another one. I am curious about the age range we have on SO.

I'm 20 (born 30th August 1988.)

Yeah, are there any regular posters that were born after 1992? I know EmoJoe's birthday is in June and he'll be 17 this year, meaning he was born in June 1992. And another member, who hasn't posted for a little while, was born in December 1992.

I don't think we currently have any people who post regularly who are under the age of 16, although I may be wrong. Of course, back in 2004, those that are 16/17 now were 12/13 then...everyone has watched them grow up! :)

20, will be 21 in July. I've been posting here on and off since I was 12(under a different username back in 2000/2001).

23 right now, 24 this summer (August 16, 1985). This part of '09 being 23 is total suckage. Can't wait to leave it behind when I turn 24.

I'm one of the older people here, but I feel in no way out of place. I really enjoy the friendships I've made. Our ideas of what constitutes a great sitcom might vary, depending on our age differences, but we all have love of TV in common, and with that, age is not a factor.

What I like about SO, is that there is a high percentage of sincere, kind people who post intelligently, which is why I've stuck with it. You don't see the level of 'snarkiness' you see on other boards, which is why I don't post on other boards. You see it sometimes, but people that constantly like to gratuitously rip other people to shreds for the sheer delight of it--are (hopefully) in most cases warned, or eventually banned.

this is a hard question to answer; just doing a little research it looks like the current projected world population for today is about 6,767,733,886 (at the time I calculated it according to US Census figures) and the world's population's average age is roughly 28.7 years (extrapolating for today from current US Census figures),

...so that would make everyone's cumulative age approximately 194,233,953,315.5 years old today.
